I have utmost respect for drilling rig workers and miners. Dangerous jobs requiring high skills and everyone looking out for each other.

Neoprene rubber soles are the best on any rig floor or Derrick board , they do not slip on oil, mud or grease , they have steel toe knee high , only downside not insulated wear 3 pair of socks when buying a set for winter. Hard hat rain gear , that firemen use is the only place you can buy them .

You'd be surprised. I swapped out my ariats and my red wings for a cheap ass pair of rubber boots I bought at a bargain store, haven't failed me yet. They ain't pretty though.
