- In this drive we barely make it to catch the Ferry to Bequia, one of the beautiful Grenadine islands.
We're bound to get lost, that was a given :)
There's too much Bequia for one video, so this is part 1, and we haven't even hit the beach yet.

Thanks for the drive. I look forward to watching as many as you do. I am looking at 60 years of change and development. I wish I could relate to you the astonishing changes I have been able to see through your eyes.
I drove with you from Kingstown to Biabou, via Evesham. On the way I saw the house where I was born and the church where I was baptized....and even my parents. In Kingstown I recognize the vacant lot where my old Emanuel High School used to be.
In fact on the drive through Kingstown, I was by coincidence talking to my friend who lives locally. I asked about the old buildings and learned of the new ones. The changes are phenomenal - mind blowing. From my many cruises through the entire Caribbean, your housing is among the very best.
One request - could you tell us a little more of the names of the places you drive through.

I visited bequia when I was in svg 3yrs ago for the first time
I loved it
I saw the fort and the turtle sanctuary among other places.
You’re brave driving those steep hills that you’ve never driven before. I’d be scared.
I am excited to see Bequia! It has been such a long time since I've seen more than Port Elizabeth.

I'm amazed that for such a popular holiday destination the roads are so quiet. Is that because of the Covid thing? Personally, I find it refreshing. There are other videos on RUclips about St. Vincent & the Grenadines but somehow, I find myself drawn to your ones. I've looked at some of them several times. Good idea to leave out some of the main attractions. I would have done the same. I will make a contribution, once I get the security thing sorted. Stay safe.
Yup Covid, I actually recorded this on the Saturday of the Easter weekend, normally I wouldn't even think about doing it then, as the island would have been packed and buzzing with activities for the regatta.
With Covid... Nothing, absolutely nothing.
