    You are quickly becoming my favorite Tekken RUclipsr. So much quality content. Thank you for making these. If possible, I would love a video breaking down how to deal with punch parries/sabaki's/high crush (basically how to deal with panic buttons) as Steve. When I run into a matchup like Asuka, I feel like I have to completely restructure my offense.

    so against chronic highcrushers like reina you approach with duck cancels into pab d1?
    Also how do you handle chronic parry people?

    • @GamerNemy
      @GamerNemy  Месяц назад

      Yes
      But not every single time..Sometimes just duck cancel into WS12 punish if you go under an EWGF or just WS1, WS2 for Poke pressure
      So people that love to parry a lot, you have to go low more often especially with d2,1
      When in Heat, his command a lot against then too

    What are your opinions on how to get in vs King?

    • @GamerNemy
      @GamerNemy  Месяц назад +1

      Ok so for King you have to look for his db1+2 muscle flex powercrush and his b3+4 Jaguar step backwards.
      Rocket Launcher is amazing against the power crush because even if he absorbs it, it recovers really fast that King can't get the punish. But he can still throw you after so be ready.
      Rocket Launcher is also good for chasing that jaguar step
      Approaching with f3 cancels against King is also good because if he uses his power crush, you can just go low.
      Jabs are not very effective against him cause he does have that ffn2 high crush low

      @GamerNemy do you have any follow up preferences to do after punishing with the 112 lightning combo?

    • @GamerNemy
      @GamerNemy  Месяц назад

      @kohakusora7474
      Sure
      112 into duck f2 is a frame trap but it is a high and can be stepped.
      You can also do 112 into machine gun punches which is also a frame trap, can be hit confirmed, punches are safe if you don't finish the whole thing and also tracks both sides

      @@GamerNemy I won't lie. I never liked the ducking in moves cuz everyone always immediately hits me with a mid. Same with with sway back. It gives off the feeling of I'm just giving my opponent a free shot for no reason. This is why I almost never used them.
      Got any other recommendations?

  • @BigHomie_chungus

    How would you get in on people who love to crouch jab i usually try to df1 them to death until they stop ducking but man that gets boring fast 😅 f2,1 into pkb u2 is good but super risky and f2,1 pkb df2 seems to get interrupted alot how would you deal with it and what would be your thought process through that situation?

    • @GamerNemy
      @GamerNemy  Месяц назад +1

      Crouch jab is generally just strong in Tekken 8
      But with Steve whilst in PKB, I use a lot of uf1 and sways to beat Crouch jabs
      Also buffering low parries whilst in pkb is very strong as well, something that Heera does a lot
