- Howdy! I am Christi from Little Salty Homesteader, and in this video, I am seed starting two varieties of kale, moss curled parsley, and direct sowing some dragon carrot seed tape into my North Texas vegetable garden for a fall and winter harvest. I’m also giving some detailed plant information for each of the varieties I am planting today.

@@littlesaltyhomesteader Watch hours!? Now your talking Bikini Gardening. I believe neither you or I will stoop low but, It's the end of the year encroaching and they wipe out all watch credit next year. We get to restart again. So shorts + consistency and oddly Lives Always pull in more hours due to active chatter and being with the creator of the channel. I've seen people get crazy hours doing lives. ( I do not like being in front of the camera. ) That reminds me i need to film today! ( Just not in a bikini ) 🤣👙

@@littlesaltyhomesteader I have never heard about restarting at the first of the year. Can not say TheWickerhomestead is wrong, but if that was the case no small channel would make any money until late in the year. Not a very good model. I did hear one channel say they do not pay until you make 100 dollars, but that the money will roll over from one month till the next until you get to 100 dollars.

I have the 4000 hours but not the 1000 subs. Have you tried DE to help control the pill bugs? It is non toxic, just do not breath it. I would use a different white powder but I assume you do not want to use synthetics pesticides. Which of the Vego plant cells to you like the best, start or large? I saw they had them on sale today. Do not need them but was curious.
@@growyourownfood7814 the problem with DE is you have to reapply as soon as you water or it rains and I’m too forgetful 😂.
I like the small and the large, but the small is easier to control the moisture. I’ll just have to be timely with transplanting or up-potting.
