I love all your skin care videos and routines. Another Vit C that I love is the Revision 30% C Complex. The TT is also a favorite. Will add the IS to my list when I need a replacement as I've not tried that one.
Thank you for sharing skincare. I have been using Truth Treatments Trifecta for about a week now and can already tell a difference in how my skin looks and feels.
I missed your birthday - Happy happy birthday 🎂🎈🎉💄. The Truth Treatments vitamin C derivative is amazing! I have never had any success with L-Ascorbic acid on my sun spots and melasma. I have been using this product for three months and there is a very noticeable difference in my skin. I use 4 drops of the Transdermal C Serum each day and the one ounce bottle will last about a year - I use the biomimetic spray with it. When you break it down the serum & spray with the discount is very reasonable (like you said, you don't have to worry about the product oxidizing, and it can be used on more sensitive skin). Yes, the initial purchase is pricey, but in the end it's more than worth it for me. I also use their retinol 5%, I just love these products! I love products too!😊 Your skin looks really beautiful! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
This was very helpful and informative. I’ve been using moisturizer and SPF on my face and neck..started as a young teen since my mom suggested I start early and it’s paid off. Adding the TT Vit C has also produced a noticeable change. Happy 40th Birthday Mandy! You look amazing! 💐🎉
Hi Mandy and happy belated birthday. Being over 40 is fine and truth be told I'm nearer 50 than 40 lol (I'll be 49 in February). Your skin is looking great. I love skincare, but I use more affordable brands including a lot of Korean beauty. I do pay for my tretinoin prescription bi monthly and find products to fit around it within my budget. I'm extremely dry/dehydrated so I layer hydration morning and night under an occlusive. This means using a lot of toner, essence and serum under moisturisers/sunscreen. I've been using skincare since I was in my early teens and despite having both rosacea and eczema it has paid off. I'm regularly told I look like I'm in my thirties - so that's pretty good. I've never been a sun worshipper due to having very pale skin that would burn (plus develop prickly heat) and go back to white with no tan in between. For most of my life (in Scotland where it's not all that sunny tbh) I wore spf March through October, whereas in the last few years I wear it all year round. We didn't have the same knowledge when I was young about wearing spf's daily and most people thought I was excessive using it as much as I did. I've been using tretinoin for a year and retinols for a year before that - it's made a massive difference to my skin. Not so much for lines, but the cushion is back which menopause took away. My cheeks are back to where they were and the sagging has greatly improved. Best wishes.
Great video Mandy. Very informative. Totally agree on the top 5. They're in my everyday routine....plus a few more. I'm a little extra as well. 😉 Thanks so much.
Simple, wish I could use just 5 lol I L❤️VE skincare too much too!! Thanks as always easy to understand and you always have links to follow! Happy Friday!🥰. Still need to buy that Alastin eye cream... obsessed with TT C Balm and their 1% retinol.
Hi dear Mandy, great and informative video as always! If I had to choose between the TT C balm and the TT C serum which would you suggest? I am 50 , combo wrinkly skin and sun damaged, but since I found you channel, I follow your advise and my skin looks great!!!❤❤❤
Hi there! I would definitely suggest the serum. I think that is the powerhouse product in the line. And I am so happy you have gotten some good skincare advice here...that makes me so happy to hear!
I love a good growth factor and use one daily. It just wouldn't be something that I would rush to re-buy if I lost everything. It's more of a bonus product for me. :)
Love your channel Mandy!!! I am currently trying the curology. My face can handle it every other day. However, my cheeks are irritated. Any suggestions on something to help with that??
Thanks!! I would try and use it buffered with a moisturizer (you can apply one directly after or mix the two) every other time you apply the Curology and see if that helps. :)
Hi Mandy, Just doing some research on BeautyCounter....are you still with them? Can you tell me what the difference between the Soft Cream and the Countermatch Adaptive Cream (which I have used for years) is?
Hi! I am still with them. So the soft cream is more for dry skin where the countermatch is more for normal. I prefer the soft cream of the two. It also has more peptides in it, so I feel like between the two, it is more of a powerhouse. I use it in the summer though, so it's not overly moisturizing if you don't have super dry skin.
Hi, beautiful! First of all, I want to say Happy birthday! Don't remember when exactly is your birthday but I do know it's this month. I have been using all your recommendations and just added curology into my routine with a 0.005% since it's a first for me using tretinoin. I'm in love. I was told to ease off of acids in the beggining which I have but wondering if I can still use truth treatment vitamin c since it is a more gentle vitamin c. What are your thoughts? Btw, are you sure you're not 30 years old? Don't look like you're 40! Xoxo
Thank you so much! I didn't use acids the first few months I started using tret again, but now I do them three times a week. I don't use them in the same routine, but you would probably be fine using the acid in the morning and the tret at night. :) And most definitely, you can still use the Vitamin C...I used that from the beginning of tret and have had no issues.
Hey Shari! I mix it with their mist but have used other mists in the past and it works great with them too. It’s so concentrated, it’s a little hard to spread on its own. ❤️
On the EltaMD Website the sunscreen description says it's non-tinted. Also thank you. I have been looking for a good sunscreen. The one I am using currently leaves a white cast on the face that I hate.
@@MandyDavisMUA thanks! I got the Belif moisturizer to use at night, but I don’t know if it’s enough. My skin has been so dry lately around my mouth (pre-Curology). I’ve contributed it mostly to mask wearing. Any suggestions?
@@MandyDavisMUA I've used Sunday Riley Good Genes exfoliator two or three x per week. I'm thinking lactic may be too strong for my sensitive skin. Glycolic maybe? I just feel I'm missing out on the retinol train but it just doesn't work for me. Thanks!
I have combo skin and using it on its own illuminated all my fine lines, even ones I didn’t know I had. After a few hours I looked a bit ghoulish and older, even under foundation. I keep it around because it makes a decent highlighter and adding it to body sunscreen gives a nice look, but I won’t rebuy when I’m out. The elta MD with a few drops of the CS bronze is my perfect sunscreen
I love how you are so honest about being high maintenance..I am the same way
Thank you Amanda!
This is by far your BEST video since its very easy to follow. I love you honesty.
Thank you so much!!! xoxo
love your product recommendations! not the typical influenced recs, i appreciate that, thanks!
Thank you so much!

Yes...the revision is a great one. I have used that in the past and remember loving it. :)
Thank you for the recommendations! I'm 48 and am always looking for new skincare.
You are so welcome!

Happy Birthday Mandy!! Love your videos! I agree those are the skincare essentials! Hope your birthday was lots of fun! 🎂🎈🎉🥳💄🌷🌻💜

FYI The Maelove Glow maker "C" lasts months if you refrigerate it. I LOVE and look forward to your videos Mandy.
Thanks so much Susan!
Your hair looks so good! Would you be able to do a video on the cut and how you style it?
Thank you! I will add that to my list for sure. :)
Your EYE LOOK is DIVINE. I want. I'm not skilled so I doubt I can pull that off but it's SO BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you! You could definitely pull it off...it's just one crease color and one lid color. :)
😂I need you to do a tutorial. Then I need you to come to my house and do it for me.

@@MandyDavisMUA thanks so much! I will be trying this.
Do you do fraxel?? :) I’m 20 and just started it...I wanna look like you when I grow up!
I don't do fraxel. I have just done microneedling and botox. :)
Excellent video. Thank you!
Sure thing Vicki. Thank you!

Oh no! I linked to the replenish. I just fixed it. Thanks for letting me know!
Do you use the TT Vitamin C balm in conjunction with the Curology? I love to use it at night, but wasn’t sure if I should mix the two.
I do use that as a moisturizer sometimes after my curology, after I let the curology sit by itself for awhile....an hour or more. :)

I will try a lactic acid and see what happens. You're the best Mandy - I've learned so much from you! Bless you!
Would you recommend the Beautycounter Vitamin C?
I do like that one! Especially if you have sensitivities to vitamin c because the % is lower. I actually use that one on my neck and chest. ❤️
Great, thanks!
For the colorscience glow sunscreen do you think it would be ok for oily skin?
It is super glowy, but if you like that look, I think it would be great. ❤️
