You should use masterballs in this situation. Peony gives you one at the start, and this is when you would need it. Since the other legendaries are shiny locked and/or guaranteed catch rate dens. The new Regis have more priority over the old ones too

Use pallosand. He is immune to all attacks and can learn hypnosis. So false swipe to 1 hp with gallade then swap to pallosand and you are going to have a 100% chance of regieleki not sweeping you.
I just checked and it seems that the Dex doesn't register the shiny form unless you catch it, also it doesn't give the option to switch between normal and shiny, so no shiny registered! Sadly 😪

you should add golurk in your team so electric moves and extreme speed won't hurt it.
