Hammer of the Righteousness is only usable with a 1h weapon!
Wrath is not proccing Exorcism.
I think you are misunderstanding the hor rune it is not a dot
It deals 4x your weps dps as damage not your weapon damage 4x as a dot the wording is a bit wired I agree
All it means is that it doesn’t matter if you have a fast or a slow weapon as long as the dps on the weapon is the same it will deal the same damage
Thanks for noting. We dont know, how they will implement it. It will be probably the version as you pointed it out. But wording is so strange here, so i went with Blizzards description :).
100% agree I had to ask a friend who plays port pals is wotlk how it workes is wotlk. The wording in the wotlk version is the same as the sod version and in wotlk it workes as I stated
I hope the wrath rune changes the spell power modifier of consecrate because it’s not great .
That would be awesome. Atm it seems to be more of an enabler for Exorcism. But it will be clunky, If we have to move a lot because of mechanics.
Was going ret, but all the sudden guild has about 17 of them lol. So now I’m down to warrior or rogue which guild doesn’t have a lot of surprisingly, what do you think would be a good choice
I would say, play what you enjoy the most! You will play your class a lot, so make your time worth it and enjoy it :).
Rogues might be good this phase. Their new poisons are like a Homonculi Effect, which make them more viable in raids and Honor among Thieves Rune could be broken. Warriors on the other hand are pretty much always good. Their new Gladiator Stance also looks fun. Try stuff out and have fun with the game mate!
How do so many people belevie Hammer of the Rightoeus applies a dot xD. It does 4 times your weapons dps as instant holy dmg to 3 targets.
Datamined tooltip says “Hammer the current target and up to 2 additional nearby targets, causing 4 times your main hand damage per second as Holy damage.”
Reads like a dot, but maybe just misleading / poor wording?
Pretty sure, this means, that just the dps of this weapon is meant. Should mean there's no difference between a fast and a slow weapon. Just the dps of the weapon is important
Ill go holy till Consecration and then all the points in retri to tanking with 2h weapons insane divine storm dmg and full plate gear
Using Seal of Martyrdom and Seal of Command? How does that work out ?
You use SoM with a fast 2h weapon and you can use SoC with a slow 2h weapon. I prefer to have a choice and there is no better option at the talent tree anyway to choose. Also SoC is better in pvp.
Wouldn't fanaticism be better if your melee crit chance is less than 18%?
I think it is only good for Holy Paladin. But try it out :)
@@JohnnyGambler is judgement, exorcism, and our new execute spell not considered a holy spell?
No divine storm? that rune is just too good to pass
If you dont have a fast 2h weapon, you can go DS. But otherwise take SoM. It procs Exorcism more often for faster clear speed.
@@JohnnyGambler the epic gnomeregan axe is 3.7 :) so yeah
That's why if you get automatic crowd pummeler you do SoM. It would do more damage then Divine Storm build on boss fights
