WearTesters I think they’re in places that sometimes overtime can form bubbles in soles so they create slight craters there to combat it. That’s my only answer lol

I thought the Spiderman colourway was sick (it still is), but the Venom colourway is next level sick. Something as simple as the teeth on the back and pink tongue on the sole makes the shoe look a million times better. I'm definitely priorizing that colourway or the others. For $100 bucks, I think it's a steal. Bounce itself is such an underrated/overlooked cushion,but it performs so damn well.

Some possibilities I think for why the divots are there in the outsole. 1. Margin of error in manufacturing, Adidas and their machines to make those soles just curate those divots in the process 2. Point of contact of the foot when it hits the floor
I think adidas should sign RJ and Zion. Zion will be super expensive but they cannot lose him to Nike and RJ would be a really nice edition to the adidas family
I think the dimples is designed for increased traction and court feel. The dimples look to be always located at high pressure areas under the heel and ball of the foot. So when you actually push down hard on the dimple (landing, cuts, stopping), it creates a ring-shaped contact patch. It's probably a gimmick but also could explain why so many Adidas bball shoes have a flat sole profile, herringbone, and these dimples. It's their traction formula, vs. Nike which seem to try pattern under the sun.
WearTesters well I doubt it would act as a suction cup because the herringbone pattern allows for air to escape, but a ring shaped contact patch is a bigger area, and more surface area could equal more traction.

I think the adidas outsoles are like that because the want to expand the durability on high wear areas. At least its what it makes the most sense to me.

I don’t think retailers will die that fast, considering people still like trying the shoes on (to get the fit right, for example), as well as touch the pair or check them out for like defects or whatever (I know you can return stuff these days but it’s more of a hassle to have to return them than give em a quick check right then and there and ask for a better pair right away). Just my two cents! Wish you guys could also give away the Spiderman jacket you mentioned at the end of the vid lol
Adidas have been my choice for shoes lately because of the boost, I need the cushion for my knees. Bounce doesn't cut it, sadly. The Curry 3's, for example, destroyed my knees. Couldn't play for weeks. I know they aren't adidas, but just an example.
The problem i had with pro bounce low 2018 is the heel part is to slippery, because of the material and some of my friends that use pro bounce also had the same issue. I saw the material in this shoes, is it similar like pro bounce? 🤔🙏🙏
Shoes aren’t made for positions. They’re made for people. People have preferences. Figure out what yours are and you’ll be able to pick the perfect shoe for yourself every time.
I dislike that rubber piece on the side, I think it adds a clunky element to an otherwise great looking silouet. Hopefully they put out some colorways with slightly nicer materials, I would love a limited version.
