- OMGosh the feel of his tiny little fingers softly grooming each detail of my skin is the softest gentlest and absolutely the most sweetest thing you could ever try to imagine.. Little Ralphie D is a rescued monkey here at Misfitland who spends most his time being picked on because of his tiny size.. To me his tiny size is part of what makes him SOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE.. His is 3 years old but never seems to grows!! He eats like a Gorilla but I have no clue where it all goes.. It won't hurt my feelings if he stays this size forever!! What a cool wee fella! I’ve watched how they groom and they know what to pull or pick and they are so gentle and make sure not poke you in the eye or whatever. Very gentle and respectful of and to others. Love him! 🙂👍🏴
Questions for ya, Is he more gentle around the eyes? It makes me wonder if they instinctually know the eyes are a sensitive area.

I get sick to my stomach when it comes to some of the things people are forcing the monkeys to do in the videos.. I love lived with monkeys 26.5 years and I am telling you that a LOT of what is posted is NOT NATURAL and I can’t imagine what the poor animal is going through as they are being forced to be a HUMAN vs what God intended for them to be.. be careful, watching those types of videos because even though you don’t mean to be you are supporting them when it happens

It's strange, it's almost like there's a higher level intelligence to the way he's going about the grooming process. It seems far more methodical then you would expect from a non-human species, or heck, even most humans. It's almost like grooming is an artform to their species. We may have adopted the ASMR but through evolution they have mastered it.
Man I get so jealous watching these videos. It looks so relaxing.

There's a lady that lives 30 miles from me and she charges 1$/minute for grooming. She has a long tail Macaque. She stays booked up.

I absolutely love macaques. They are so funny. I just want to hold one. But unfortunately I am not for sure if my dream would ever come true. I'm a transplant recipient and have no immune system. So I'm not sure if it would be safe for me or the monkey. So I will continue just to watch..🥰😍

He is 4 years old, not a baby, but he has an intestinal problem he’s being treated for that keeps him small.
