You have every right to do so, no one should judge you for it or assume you are insecure. However, women working oout in sport bras aren't necessarily disrespecting their bodies or not upholding their dignity. It is just more comfortable for some to not have so much fabric get in the way during exercise.

@@niemamnog7888 It's ok the only reason you don't encourage modesty is because you seek male attention. And you're the same kind of women that after getting it, you blame men for looking at you or being weird to you. You're not modest not my problem. Honestly I think if I get off of internet it would be because of your childish profil picture. Perversion is not the only problem with women nowadays. A lot of women AND men are becoming child-adults. Just take a look at the clothes section at walmart you can see men's t-shirt with stuff like spider man on it like they are 4 year's old. How can a grown man who should be the head of the family can wear a spider man t-shirt?? It's not normal that grown adults instead of having families, they play video games. Video games are for kids. Bring back real men and real women.
We had a water day at school today and one of my friends was to insecure to take her sweater (that she had over her swimsuit) off, I told her that no one was judging her and that she should do it when she felt comfortable. she did it! She did it after about an hour outside. She told me she did it because she listened to what I said and realized that no one was judging, it was a real “that’s my girl” moment! 💖💖💖💖💖
Feeling modest is really healthy, İ don't want women to feel pushed that if they feel "insecure" about exposing their bodies that it's a problem that needs solved by boosting their confidence. You are completely normal, nothing to be solved here, do what ever makes you comfortable. Love.
Well I want to give an alternate view here, too. Sometimes people are uncomfortable for other reasons than modesty. From someone raised in a less modest culture- I saw this and thought she was afraid to take off her shirt because she disliked her stomach or felt fat. I have known many men, for example, who would swim with shirts on because they didn’t like their bodies- and that habit lessened when they liked their bodies more. So those “”modest”” actions were not driven from a moral desire (or comfort) to be modest, but rather from shame/embarrassment of their form. There’s a lot of things people wear simply because they hate the way a part of themselves looks. So imo it really depends. If someone is self conscious about wearing a sports bra because they simply don’t like showing that much figure or skin- then that’s understandable and not the same thing. (That also varies by culture, time period, and gender) I don’t think anyone should feel forced to show more skin if they prefer being modest. Should wear what makes u comfortable 100%
I don't know why but imo, working out in a gym without a shirt on doesn't seem right. I feel comfortable in my body and at home I workout in shorts and a bra, but public places are public and one just ought to wear more clothes because half-naked may be all right to you but may be uncomfortable for others to see
Completely agree. Not to mention that some of the sports bras do not have proper padding, so nipples show. I do not feel comfortable with other people half-naked around me regardless of their body type or biological sex, I do not want to see other people's nipples. Also, for women, dressing sparsely invites unwanted attention and if you complain, staff will blame it on you.
Yeah plus I like modesty personally and would rather not show everything so it’s a shock when I do wear something slightly revealing or lift something heavy
Good for you. Just don't hate on anyone who is wearing a sports bra while working out. If you go to a gym, it's expected that people will wear less clothes. Why? Because it's hard to do lots of movement with lots of clothes on. A sports bra is simple and skin tight so there's nothing to get in the way. If someone wants to wear it in public, please respect it and they'll respect you
If someone told me in the gym "That's my girl " I'd be scared Edit: OH MY BOOTY HOLE THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LIKES🥳💝 Edit:OH MY GODZILLA THANK 💗YALL FOR THE LIKES BRO I CANT😫😭

@@MAX-de8fe you do realize this stuff happens in real life? And I hope you also realize what you just said is hella obvious and they already knew. It's not that deep.
To people who are saying "oh, it's not insecurity, it's shyness and modesty", ok, if someone DOESN'T really want to wear a sports bra, it's fine, that's their decision, but! But the point of the video is that the girl wants to wear it, and if the person WANTS to wear the sports bra and doesn't want to be "modest", but doesn't wear it because she is afraid, shy or insecure (any of these things become a problem if they prevent you from doing something in the long and short run) most likely due to low self esteem, possible predatory behaviour (which is not her fault, it's men who should change and respect others), and other people's opinions (which is the worse thing to do, caring what others think), then, when someone finally manages to do something they personally WANT, it's so satisfying to see it, someone being confident and being fine with their body and not afraid to show it (and in any case, it's not always to show off your body, it's also about liking how an outfit looks better than another or because it's more aerodynamic and makes you less steamy and sweaty when working out). At the end of all, if they decided to wear the sports bra, the shorts,or whatever smaller piece of clothing they wear, it's because they decided to do it and wanted to do it, no one really forced them (not for other people but for themselves. Mind you, it's fucking hot nowadays and it's better to wear things that let air flow better so one sweats less, a baggy shirt isn't that refreshing). If women feel pressured by society to either cover up or show off their body, SO should men :) Don't allow double standards. It shouldn't be a woman's only thing, but you make it so. And that's a shame.
i don’t take my shirt of in the gym it’s like i’m naked and i don’t like that kind of attention. a fitted shirt will get the job done if it’s about form

There’s nothing insecure about wearing clothes in public, around strangers. In fact it’s probably best. Social media is really killing peoples brain cells
for all the people confused, she never said u should wear a sports bra necessarily. it's only for people who want to wear it, but don't just because they are insecure. not for people who just don't prefer it.
She didn’t mean that there is a problem. But the girl was clearly shy of only wearing a sports bra which is supposed to be meant for using for training and sports so she was glad when she took the shirt off and was confident enough to gym without the shirt
She never said there's anything wrong with it. She's saying that if insecurity is the only thing holding you back, then you should be proud when it's no longer stopping you.

You won’t catch me dead wearing only a sports bra. I am perfectly comfortable with how I look but I also enjoy modesty. That’s why I feel in love with working at a living museum where I had to dress like I was from the 1850s. Long sleeves and multiple layers of skirts while working in the heat wasn’t that bad because I felt so comfortable. Now I’m considering getting rid of any short sleeves or shorts that I own and buy a long skirt or two.
@Sofia Kangas why do you despise modesty it's quite simply what you find well covered and put together everyone finds it in a different way and understands it in a different way the concept isn't bad to me personally
@Sofia Kangas you seem very well versed with your words and knowledge on this, so I would appreciate it if you could help me with the questions that popped in my head as I read your argument, which I find very interesting and helpful. I quite agree with most of it, want to say everything but I felt the "not for me" feeling when I read the wearing braless crocktop and extra short shorts etc, but then again that's just my personal preference. Anyways, my question is as follows: (but please do not take it out of context as I'm not so good at expressing myself, and definitely not even close at your level; English isn't my native language but I do try to get better. If it sounds too out of tone, disrespectful in any manner or anything else bad I really do apologize because I just want to expand my knowledge and your kind of mentality so open, soothingly intelligent and kind, is very very hard to find where I live) In the hypothetical situation that I hear your same argument with a group of people that also agrees with you, then take that chance to take off my clothes and do my stretchings near you completely naked and then start to touch myself in many specific ways that some (or most, where I live at least) people would describe as extremely erotic, yet I'm just doing that to me without any malice nor specific purpose to cause anyone anything, and even so, based on your argument I wouldn't have to mind either way since it's the eye of the beholders fault if they feel aroused. And that same group that agreed with you wholeheartedly before, starts to feel sexually stimulated by looking at me. In this whole scenario, wouldn't that prove that I am in some way responsible for enacting the stimulus that even instincts prove to be wired upon it within us still, even after having evolved so far, and for the sake of the argument; say the group of people gets wider as in the country and a vast amount of those people also react the same way towards my actions, no matter how many times I do it and where, they always get that strong reaction within them, and for some, visually outside of them too (physical reactions to it). In this very rushed scenario, could you tell me what you think and what you would say to help me understand how I'm wrong or if I'm right in some things or etc. Thank you for your patience, time and input. I'll be waiting for your response and again, I'm sorry if I didn't know a better way to ask this u.u please forgive me if anyone reading this felt insulted in any way.

"that's my girl" 💕💕
I will never stop smiling at this 😊
When falling in love, some lose their head, others lose their heart.
You’re absolutely right!
@@ythelldoineedahandle don’t look if it makes you uncomfortable then?

Good for you. Just don't hate on anyone who is wearing a sports bra while working out. If you go to a gym, it's expected that people will wear less clothes. Why? Because it's hard to do lots of movement with lots of clothes on. A sports bra is simple and skin tight so there's nothing to get in the way. @@MAX-de8fe I know
Well it’s very obvious that’s not what’s being portrayed in this video. Common sense people. It’s lacking.
If you are free to take off

You won’t catch me dead wearing only a sports bra. I am perfectly comfortable with how I look but I also enjoy modesty. That’s why I feel in love with working at a living museum where I had to dress like I was from the 1850s. Long sleeves and multiple layers of skirts while working in the heat wasn’t that bad because I felt so comfortable. Now I’m considering getting rid of any short sleeves or shorts that I own and buy a long skirt or two.
@Sofia Kangas ...u wrote a whole essay I don't feel like reading but from the little I read I agree
And that’s alright too :)
Rhyming name Amanda Panda
If it sounds too out of tone, disrespectful in any manner or anything else bad I really do apologize because I just want to expand my knowledge and your kind of mentality so open, soothingly intelligent and kind, is very very hard to find where I live)
In the hypothetical situation that I hear your same argument with a group of people that also agrees with you, then take that chance to take off my clothes and do my stretchings near you completely naked and then start to touch myself in many specific ways that some (or most, where I live at least) people would describe as extremely erotic, yet I'm just doing that to me without any malice nor specific purpose to cause anyone anything, and even so, based on your argument I wouldn't have to mind either way since it's the eye of the beholders fault if they feel aroused.
I'll be waiting for your response and again, I'm sorry if I didn't know a better way to ask this u.u please forgive me if anyone reading this felt insulted in any way.

aww it's okay :) don't let anyone else's bodies cause a struggle for you, you are beautiful just the way you are! I know this sounds like one of those annoying copy-paste comments, but I promise that beauty comes in every way!
My chest and flat are flat, same to my booty 🥰
@@General.Grievous111 Aww thank you!!!🤍People still look at me like a maniac in the locker room tho-
You are beautiful just the way you are, but I know that feeling. I can’t stand showing off my sports bra because I have huge boobs that bounce and it’s just embarrassing
@@brybee222 don't be embarrassed hun
I’ve recently started feeling brave enough to do this. It feels really good because I realized the only person who really cared about how I looked was me.
YAS GIRLLLLLLLLLLLL DO WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You prolly a femboy not a girl
you should always be comfortable in your own skin no matter what, and especially at the gym, the gym is for improvements
She wasn't at all looking uncomfortable about her skin she was just insecure to exercise in her sports bra 😑
She knows exactly what she’s doing…stay strong girl💙
People in comments saying she was shy,.... Blah blah
Stop guys that's completely her choice and I'll like to appreciate those girls who support other girls, we need more girls like girl, your the real queen
Nike: "Just do it"
idk why this video is getting so much hate… it’s about a girl supporting another to do what she wants. there’s nothing inappropriate about sports bras if men are allowed to work out without shirts. it’s a way to keep cool and sweat less. i used to be so insecure at cross country, not because of my weight but it just seemed weird. and now i do it all the time because it’s so much cooler and i don’t sweat nearly as much.
Finally someone understands this! I'm seeing a lot of hate comments hating on her saying like "gen z problems",stfu bro you're the one that caused the insecurities for saying this shit
Exactly how did she support her. She didn’t say anything. Just like any other person in the Gym. Lmao
exactly, she has good intentions and is most likely talking about a personal yet relatable moment she had
What gym is letting men workout without a t shirt? I've never been to one that allows this.
Man arent allowed to workout without shirts. Also you dont have to be half naked to feel confident
You are the best woman I see on RUclips you are making girls/woman’s comfortable I just want to say keep going!!
"Dont be dirty minded"💛

Please grow up
I feel like crying because I haven’t been this confident and this song, so thank you for being you and making my day.
Some girls just don't want to show their body. This is not called insecurities, it is preservation
Preserving what exactly? Acting like the majority of men don't watch stuff.
Fr
@@yea9132 then walk naked cause majority of the men also watch those stuffs
Well this video clearly isn't about those cases is it. You people are insufferable
@@yea9132Doesn’t matter if they watch stuff or not. She doesn’t want to be sexually provocative. Some porn star won’t a shit being objectified and seen as a piece of meat to abuse
Ive only been insecure like 5 times and refused to go to church bc of my cousin she called me fat and i didnt feel comfy with my body but now i love myself ♡
U should go to church for god not for people
You're going to Church now?
yay she's so confident!!!! That's my girl!!!
You are the best inspiration to everyone!❤❤
Good to know I'm not the only one that like to see confidence and self lifting moments of other people doing their best for themselves. It's nice to see, because everyone struggles and has hard times, so even witnessing those moments can definitely make u smile
Normalize wearing long sleeve tees and hoodies to workout! You don't need to "show" yourself to be confident, it's all about your choice.
Lol, it's hot and uncomfortable.
@@fiona2396 nah it ain’t
@@fiona2396 it isnt
A extra thin layer of cloth isnt gonna make u hot or uncomfortable, thats why u dont wear them in winter
Normalise people wanting to wear whatever tf they want to at gym
TAKE IT ALL OFF. That’s true confidence.
A woman standing up for another woman is a queen 👑
It's not instagram comment kiddo😂
To be true I'm more insecure about the pants i am wearing like i dont want people to stare at me
Then wear something covering in which you feel comfortable and safe don't trust every influencing video on social media.
Bro sammee i have some hairs on my knees and their rough what makes it worse
Me too like i find them ugly i find my shoes ugly and stuff
your such amazing inspiration to people ❤
🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️ thanks so much for your nice words
@@growingannanas any time ☺️
The comments did not pass the vibe check but I feel this way too! Even at home as I do home work outs.
This made me cry about how much more people we need like you WE NEED SUPPORTERS NOT DOWNERS
What's so supportive??? Why don't men make videos like this?? That shows every aspect of their bodies and half naked to feel empowered..
@@mahirahasankarim1358 men workout without a shirt on summer, and women are wearing a sports bra, i don't get why it's bad if women do it.

Some people just think girls/women don’t sweat 😂
Most dudes don’t take off their shirt when they sweat why do you have to take off your shirt. What’s wrong with modesty
@@DonsdnkDjjddndnwhat's wrong with letting people do whatever tf they want? go to the gym, workout, leave. it's not a fashion runway. they can do whatever they want to feel comfortable.
I absolutely love it when women are confident in their workout clothes, sports bras & little shorts! Especially the woman trying to lose weight. It warms my heart so much & motivates me! 😊
this helps tremendously, i can’t even put my gratitude for u into words 🥰🥰 all the love from france !
I personally like to workout in a t-shirt. Just for modesty sake 😅
I put on a t-shirt. Every single time
Always be confident ❤
Tysm for helping me I was really insecure about my body and You Made me feel good!💗💗
Women only gyms would be so nice. I’d wear whatever the heck I wanted without feeling judged 😅
