    I saw this video a few months ago and 20 minutes after finding it I was printing the edited file. Now I watch this every few weeks before editing an stl to refresh my memory

      @HLModTech I had trouble logging in with tinkercad . I used the student button, which wasn't the same as the first time ... also, it said my cloud memory was full , I have little idea what I'm doing 🤦 I'm confident I can send you a good idea of my design but I'm 60 years old and recently had a couple of mild strokes which is making it difficult to take all the information in 🥲... it's a jigsaw puzzle, I'm sure you love it 🥰😇

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  Месяц назад

      Sorry, I have no idea how to help with that. Tinkercad has no limit on files saved, so cloud memory issues should not be possible.

    Convert the mesh/STL to a solid in Fusion 360 with a couple of clicks. No need to recreate.

    I am making a wing with a rg15 and 66 inc long i can not do it as i like to make a mold for the wing

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  Год назад

      I am not sure what rg15 means. The other part of your question is how to make something 66 inches long in Tinkercad, right?

    • @alanscarlett6551
      @alanscarlett6551 Год назад

      @@HLModTech the rg15 is the airflow of th wing and 66inc long from tip to tip it

    Good tutorial, but I think you are searching for the word “across” not acrossed thanks for the info!

    • @HLModTech

      Thank you. Did I use the word wrong in the video somewhere? I am not spotting it in the title or anything...

      @@HLModTech I thought you said ACROSST or something like that around 5:48 - No big deal, it is just after a lifetime of editing, my OCD makes me stop paying attention when I hear things that sound a touch off. My problem not yours, thanks for your hard work!

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  10 месяцев назад +1

      @MitchGurowitz No worries... With making a new video almost every day, I rarely put anything up that is really spot on. =) I appreciate the reminder that it can be a problem for viewers too. It is really easy to just keep moving with my creations and forget details. 💯👍

    So you can’t edit an existing file ?

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  4 месяца назад

      You can use brute force with them... but it is not the same as ungrouping a model you created. This is a good brute force example of an STL mod in Tinkercad. ruclips.net/video/reUesJ0rafc/видео.html

      STL files are an exported file type. They can be made in many software programs, so Tinkercad is just interpreting the file upon import. If you create a scratch Tinkercad project it is fully editable. This is an example of how projects are stored in the cloud. ruclips.net/video/W_plG0bZu48/видео.html
