Okie so to explain: It's a joke surrounding stereotypes. Basically how queer people will with one hand flick their wrist to signal they're gay. Kinda like 💅 or how in the old days when you'd give your hand to a man to kiss your hand. Or how autistic/neurodivergent people often walk around with trex arms. Like both wrists limp and elbows bent. So it's a play on that! Hope that makes sense :)
@@saranne_wrapya but, let's be honest that's more of a trait of lower functioning so idk if both really applies, might just be your overwhelming gayness😂

i gotta start looking back because my major autism symptoms only started rearing their heads once i got diagnosed (it’s my journey of unmasking, i’m afab and so growing up i masked pretty quick before even knowing what i was doing) but theres definitely been memories that come to mind where it’s like oh. yup. you’re autistic. but i wonder if my kid photos give any hints!
I’m not gay but am autistic and into fashion, particularly grunge/more androgynous clothing so I have a short shag haircut and don’t usually dress “girly”. People assume I’m queer all the time lol. But nope, just dressing how I like and not acting like “the other girls” (in a non-pick me way, just purely factual).
I mean that's a really common look, so you are dressing like a big chunk of other girls The majority of girls dressing super feminine hasn't been accurate for decades And nowadays there are such a vast number of aesthetics, and that one you described is one of the few most popular currently, (on basically the same popularity as the femme look) that technically you certainly DO dress like other girls, and your look is one of the most mainstream Not saying that's a bad thing at all ❤ It's crazy that there are still people out there (unfortunately especially certain straight men) who still think that straight female fashion is exclusively long curled hair, flowy frilly sparkly pink dresses, "pretty" socially acceptable makeup and heels :')

Big hugs, I really fall slowly in love with people. I'm both and it leads to what I like to refer to as hopping ghost arms after the traditional Japanese vampire. Which is the very specific kind of niche piece of information that would lead people to realize that I am indeed autistic now that I say it out loud.
I do T. rex arms, and I had no idea it was linked to autism, my son is diagnosed but I’ve never been. “Officially” but if the shoe fits baby 💕I have tons of quirks.
I’ll never forget the day when my mom told me to stop doing the T-Rex arm bc it would offend ‘other people’. She was talking about autistic people and before she told me that I was diagnosed with Autism. 😂
EVERY time I catch myself doing dinosaur arms I get so upset. I used to be able to go about my life not thinking about these things. Now social media is like haha Dino arms lmao
I always hold my left hand like that, only notice when I see myself in the mirror (ballet dancer so mirrors abound). I thought it was because I was always carrying a book or my teddy but maybe it’s just the neurodivergence lol
Joint hypermobility is also common in autistic people. The T-Rex arms could be a way to stabilize the joints bc if they keep their arms straight, gravity starts weighing their arms down, stressing the shoulders and elbows. So naturally they like the T-Rex pose.
