That explains my hesitancy towards love, fun, etc. for years. I grew up in an emotional and mentally abusive household so I was an adult as a child and now as an adult, I’m trying to reclaim my childhood. I wasn’t interested in dating or parties back in high school not because I didn’t have time, but because I didn’t want those good times to end and have to go home. As an adult, I’m trying to include more fun and creative ways in my life (I love to sing and write poetry), start dating, and letting my inner child free. I have 5th house Aquarius and 11th Leo.

I am stunned. At first I was skeptical because I have Leo in the 11th as my south node. (I don’t feel like I “naturally” embody Leo qualities lol) but when you started talking about leadership in collectives and causes I was 🤯. That last life 100% showed up in my teen years; I was comfortable leading group causes. People sought me out when I was quite young for leadership roles in the collective group I was in. My late 20s and early 30s have been all about learning content, being present, individuality, self expression all the things you said. I felt like I was “off course” doing all these things… but maybe I’m not 🙂 I’m a little confused about how Aquarius specifically in my north node caters to play 😂. Seems I still have some of the humanitarianism to go towards in this lifetime? Lol

I feel like for me it went the opposite way. When I was younger I didn't want to grow up and I played with toys longer than most, watched cartoons and got into anime when it was still looked down on by general public. I was alot more involved with my creativity and play. But as I got older and especially after having 2 kids I got more and more serious.
I have this placement 😰 I grew up in a toxic household I was a very serious child and had to think of my future as a means to escape the toxicity. so I never had the chance to play and have fun and just be a kid and let my imagination run wild. now that i’m an adult and have moved out of state, now i’m getting in touch with my inner child and learning how to live in the moment, i’m safe now and don’t need to be so serious when there’s nothing to escape any more. i’m almost re-parenting myself and letting my inner child out to play and enjoy all that i’ve accomplished for myself. sounds weird but I find a lot of joy in learning dances, tarot cards, reading and writing. so, this is spot on haha…. omg. this was amazing. my north node is in Sagittarius, 5th house. I was born in a mind-control cult that I believed on 1000% until my reality shattered when the veil was lifted from eyes and realized what it truly was. i then started to work in theater as a producer. always lifting others up and working behind the scenes. people in theater are often also activists and I remember kind of just putting on activism as a part of my identity because everyone else seemed to be doing it. however, i always felt like a phony. i never really felt oppressed in this country because of my race but more so because i was born in a cult. i felt like i was co-opting struggles that didnt belong to me. after that i got into yale and basically fell into the same type of behaivors of blending into the group and not expressing my unique individuality. fast forward to now, im working one becoming a life coach and starting a youtube channel and fully embracing creative self-expression. thanks for this video.

I've definitely started moving towards my Scorpio north node in 5h. It feels uncomfortable because Scorpio is about embracing change and transformation but i have taken steps to healing my inner child through creative expression. I was a very serious kid - always studying and working hard at school. I used to play guitar and was into reading and writing, and have recently reconnected with that. I also have my own tutoring company where i work with kids. I don't think I've found more joy in my life than to work with children.

I must agree, this is the most succinct explanation of this placement I’ve come across. I have this in Sag, along with my Mercury in the house. I am a complete and utter artist lol I cannot be anything but! I have other placements that strengthen this quality, but individuation is a must. I do not mind standing out and setting myself apart, and that’s mainly through dress. My life revolves around my creative endeavors. No children for me, my art is a baby lol painting, sketching, tattooing, photography, writing, poetry - some musical instruments if I could play em! Art is my life. And I love sex! I think the message of doing things just for the sake of creativity and joy and being present in the moment is where I will draw more of my self-worth instead of seeking external validation. I definitely have the humanitarian drive and awareness for the collective groups, which I’ve been stuck in for a long while. My way out is through happiness which has been hard since I know about all the suffering out there I want to help alleviate. What a spiritual paradox that by embrace my own joy I help others do the same.

Not only is my NN in the 5th house, I’m a Leo sun (in the 6th) and Aquarius moon (in the 12th) and feel a constant push pull between my head and heart, between my personal desires and lifting humanity, between dreaming about the future and enjoying the present. I feel like for me it went the opposite way. When I was younger I didn't want to grow up and I played with toys longer than most, watched cartoons and got into anime when it was still looked down on by general public. I was alot more involved with my creativity and play. But as I got older and especially after having 2 kids I got more and more serious.
I have this placement 😰 I grew up in a toxic household I was a very serious child and had to think of my future as a means to escape the toxicity. so I never had the chance to play and have fun and just be a kid and let my imagination run wild. now that i’m an adult and have moved out of state, now i’m getting in touch with my inner child and learning how to live in the moment, i’m safe now and don’t need to be so serious when there’s nothing to escape any more. i’m almost re-parenting myself and letting my inner child out to play and enjoy all that i’ve accomplished for myself. sounds weird but I find a lot of joy in learning dances, tarot cards, reading and writing. so, this is spot on haha…. I have a natural pull to children they honestly light up my world and remind me to stay in the present. they really are the best teachers for this placement. I really reaaaalllyy enjoy child psychology especially because of my upbringing but it also allows healing insight personally.

omg. this was amazing. my north node is in Sagittarius, 5th house. I was born in a mind-control cult that I believed on 1000% until my reality shattered when the veil was lifted from eyes and realized what it truly was. i then started to work in theater as a producer. always lifting others up and working behind the scenes. people in theater are often also activists and I remember kind of just putting on activism as a part of my identity because everyone else seemed to be doing it. however, i always felt like a phony. i never really felt oppressed in this country because of my race but more so because i was born in a cult. i felt like i was co-opting struggles that didnt belong to me. after that i got into yale and basically fell into the same type of behaivors of blending into the group and not expressing my unique individuality. fast forward to now, im working one becoming a life coach and starting a youtube channel and fully embracing creative self-expression. thanks for this video.

I naturally have a child like spirit but I've notice the older I've gotten I'm not free in my expression or just child like, I've definitely notice the difference. oh I loved this so much! I discovered North Node astrology last year and loved it so much but this is so great. Makes so much sense and I do so love to play, make art with my kids and partner but so often feel guilty that I am not out there saving the world as I can see / feel so much of what is needed. This might just help me let go of some of the guilt and just play more.... this also explains maybe why when I played with weaving ti took off so much as I have north node in 5th house in Libra and balance is not my strong suit but the weaving did help bring the balance in... perhaps I should do more!

I've definitely started moving towards my Scorpio north node in 5h. It feels uncomfortable because Scorpio is about embracing change and transformation but i have taken steps to healing my inner child through creative expression. I was a very serious kid - always studying and working hard at school. I used to play guitar and was into reading and writing, and have recently reconnected with that. I also have my own tutoring company where i work with kids. I don't think I've found more joy in my life than to work with children.

To be honest, I know from my father and grandfather's family that we are descended from the lower nobility of my ethnicity (Javanese), but for some reason I was born a Christian [Fyi , I learned from the history of our people that our ancestor was a Javanese (Majapahit) king who was Hindu but conquered by his own son who was Muslim (Demak Kingdom) As time went by the Dutch Colonials came to our area] . and I think, the history of our ancestors has something to do with everything that has happened to me so far.

I must agree, this is the most succinct explanation of this placement I’ve come across. I have this in Sag, along with my Mercury in the house. I am a complete and utter artist lol I cannot be anything but! I have other placements that strengthen this quality, but individuation is a must. I do not mind standing out and setting myself apart, and that’s mainly through dress. My life revolves around my creative endeavors. No children for me, my art is a baby lol painting, sketching, tattooing, photography, writing, poetry - some musical instruments if I could play em! Art is my life. And I love sex! Having good sex is another hobby, though with Saturn in the 7th it can be hard to have fun with a romance I perceive to not be long term lol I found a box from my childhood of old art and writing and I shouldn’t have been surprised that I am still that kid planning my next big art project lol with this node I feel that no matter what I’m blessed to have a life that allows me to expand my play in some capacity. My expression was policed or not accepted as a child, and I grew fearful expressing myself. As an adult I have fun letting it all hang out and making up for lost time hiding.
