Steve, I'm Rick Hill from the US and I just purchased the St James EL34 Combo from Sweetwater Sound here in the US. I play CLassic Rock and Blues/Rock. I'm playing a Fender Telecaster with Custom Medium wound Direct Mount Humbuckers. I'm having a BIG problem with the Amp. When I EQ the CLEAN Channel 1 the way I like it then switch to the Gain Channel it's WAY TOO Bright. And setting the Gain Channel 2 they way I like it, switching bake to Channel ! Clean there's WAY TOO MUCH Bass. Please any suggestions you might have for me would be Greatly Appreciated. I can't be taking the time between or during Songs at a Gig to keep changing the EQ all the time for each Channel. It works Great for Studio Work, but LIVE it's a problem! I'm 71 with back issues and just Love the weight of this All Tube Amp. Thank You Sir. and Cheers from the US!!
I have the Blackstar ID 260 combo amp black face and it is a ass kicking amp. I traded my Marshall for this amp. I would like to see Blackstar do a version 2 of this solid state amp I will buy it.
So you’d rather no content with demos then? The guitars are pristine after filming. By your reasoning, if someone comes into the shop to demo a guitar and doesn’t buy it then that would have to be used too?
That clean and overdrive range of 6L6... I love it!
my favorite tubes
The clean and overdrive range is actually in the preamp channels using ECC83 / 12AX7 valves.
The 6L6's are in the power stage.
@@pauljamesstevens4955 I meant the Studio 10 6L6 variant :)
Love me a blackstar. Never played a bad one
Great produits and great playing
Got this rig, it’s brill 🎼🇬🇧
When will the 6L6 head be available in the U.S.??

Try the Silverline series, great amps.
The light cover on the light one looks like some old 50 or 60s furniture seat cover. However, having a Club 40 it sounds good.
Omg! No longer in Bargoed!
What does that mean?
@@castleanthrax1833 if you know, you know. That’s all I am saying
@@cerinicholls6143 Yes, but do you know? 🤔
@@castleanthrax1833 of course!
Is this what’s being released tomorrow? How’s this supposed to be the future of amplification?
Strange how you can play a new guitar that’s in stock and it never becomes used

@Daniel's Rock Guitars then so should every guitar a customer tries. Makes no sense.
@@cerinicholls6143 yes disagree and get piled on just making an observation
@@MrVanalen “piled on” 😂🤣 still in school are you?
@@cerinicholls6143 well maybe not such a wise man after all 😂
looks great. 6l6 would be my pick.
