      Can you tell me how he ended up with 100mpa in the end? It should be 100 10E7 which will be 1000mpa not 100mpa.. Ik I am wrong, can you explain me the scaling factor?

    Comsol, 50K, Ansys & Abacus, don’t ask. With Matlab + home licence we (us plebs) have a small not so insignificant fighting chance of learning and developing, which as any engineer/scientist will tell you is impossible once leaving university. Thank you Matlab.

      However, you will need to buy additional toolboxes as well. There's an alternative of FOSS.

      I mean, you can use all these software for free already. takes less than an hour to find a crack and install it...

    Too complicated compared to other software such as Abaqus.
