Season 5 was a powerhouse season: Katherine McPhee, (Chris) Daughtry and Kellie Pickler. Although Taylor Hicks "won", the other three all eclipsed him in terms of becoming famous for their music careers.
So do I and so do probably a couple of billion others. And I love her accent. She is the most adorable sweetheart I've ever seen on stage. As soon as she comes to Europe to sing for us in France or Belgium, she'll receive a warm welcome.

OMG Kellie is extremely Gorgeous! Who are these paragons of beauty that they have the nerve to criticize a belle like Kellie? IN a really natural way, she doesn't look like she wears a lot of make up..I am always surprised when people are fooled by a natural look into thinking someone is not as striking as someone with bright red lips and a ton of eye makeup. Like Michelle CHAMUEL she is gorgeous if you have the sense to look under the glasses and buttoned up shirts and lack of make up.

Carrie Underwood sold over 7 millions copies of her first effort, Some Hearts...and her second album doing good selling 2 millions copies so far..by far the best American Idol contestant..she's almost beat Kelly Clarkson..comparing her to Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift and Kristy Lee Cook? NO WAY!..she talented..and charismatic..beautiful..hehe..

I picked her to win at her first audition... then I saw Katherine and Chris, and had some doubts. But I still think she could have won most years - but season 5 might have been the best talent up until maybe the last year. But Kellie (perhaps in a tie with another Kelly - Clarkson) may still be my favorite. Not for her raw talent - McPhee, and Clarkson, and Underwood, and Daughtry, and several others have her beat there, but as Bob Dylan proved, there is more to being a great musical star than being the best singer.

She did Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered pretty darn well I thought. [Much better than Stockard Channing recently did on the Tony's]. And I loved Suds in the Bucket. Some songs aren't very strong, but you won't have Andrea Bochelli sing Def Leppard now would you? Some artists really are fit for one genre. Go Kellie!!!

Humor is a creative form of intelligence. Intelligence is nevertheless over rated. In fact most people are clueless how stupid they actually are, especially those that are under the illusion that they are smart. By the way she is blowing everybody away with her dancing talent on Dancing with the Stars.

Idol has "NOT" had anyone come close to the talent of Kellie Kickler or Carrie Underwood. And they are both "hot" to boot !
