To late for me. Joshua vs Wilder, should of had el shake your baby 5 years ago. Would of been interesting times. Khan vs Brook I waited and waited, same as all the magical super fights
It is - but AJ-Wardley would be better because Wardley is more mobile. Bakole is too static to be much of a threat to AJ, so it won't tell us much about AJ's future. Wardley moves well and will be a sterner test to what AJ has left.
What Bakole did to have fight With AJ.. beat bawlie bawlie Jared Anderson and old timer Carlos Takam in my opinion he needs to beat a top rated boxer( not a over hyped one) so as to be qualified for such a contest.Children on mars knew Bawlie bawlie Jared would be no match For Bakole and not because Agit kaybayel & Zhang dodged him they're afraid of him, that was instrumented by the spiteful Frank Warren.
@@JD-re3cj people like you are too invested in promotor Beefs, the both of them Frank & Eddie get on behind the scenes, You casuals need to Get Over It Now
Bakole seems like a nice guy. But in terms of his boxing record, apart from beating highly rated American prospect Anderson i cant see any other top opponents he has defeated.
exactly, but what we can see is him getting stopped by a cruiserweight, Michael hunter. Boxing is fickle, one performance and you're the next big thing
Not sure Anderson was quite 'highly rated.' Decently rated maybe. Tony Yoka was a similarly good win - before that fight I would've said Yoka had more upside than Anderson. And then an old Takam. It's not a great record. The hype is a bit OTT
Ruiz made Anthony Joshua quit. He had no top 30 names on his record other than AJ until 2022 when he fought Ortiz. He got smashed by Miller in his next fight 😂
@Anthony.Joshuas.Irish.Grandma serious question, are you on the spectrum? You are on every and any boxing video randomly bringing up aj getting stopped by ruiz years ago. Very strange behaviour.
At least joshua still has the heart to carry on fighting despite losses. Luke fury threw his toys out the pram crying and "retired" after losing to the superior man usyk TWICE
Why all this hype over Martin Bakole, yes he had a good win over a highly regarded American prospect. But that same guy struggled by Charles Martin. Bakole also got stopped by a Cruiserweight in Hunter. So he doesn't seem to be particularly durable himself. Hunter isn't a big puncher at heavyweight. As for sparring that doesn't mean, that's how things play out in an actual professional bout. Bakole big strong guy but has nothing in particular, that says dominant heavyweight champion of the near future.
Cos they want to get AJ a vacant belt cos he sells. So they will soon strip a belt and get AJ va useless bakole to fight for it. So they've started hyping up bakole and unfortunately most people seem to be falling for it
people forget this man quit against hunter and how good was anderson really ?? before we all get carried away . But hes the best sparrer ever to grace a boxing ring
He had a shoulder injury in the Hunter fight, Billy Nelson there were other things happening in his life at that time and he should've postponed the fight with Hunter. He made Anderson look bad.
Yes he had a shoulder injury but it wasn't the entire duration of the fight. He threw plenty of big power shots with that arm at Hunter. And mostly missed as Hunter evade most of them. Hunter took a few big power shots himself and he didn't even get dropped. Hunter for his size has a better chin, than Bakole. Given that Bakole is the bigger men who still got stopped by a guy who was a long time cruiserweight. Even by today's heavyweights, Hunter is a small heavyweight.
I don't want to see Joshua against Wilder. While Wilder will have the ability to knock somebody out cold with one punch over 12 rounds until the day he dies - I think he is completely shot as a fighter. AJ, on the other hand, was beaten by a man with more desire and will on the night when he lost to Dubois. He's always been a guy who can get buzzed by a punch, so I don't think his chin is "gone" as many would say - I just saw a man with less desire and hunger that night, but I don't think AJ is shot as a fighter like Wilder is. Personally, I would like to see AJ take on Fabio Wardley. A next level test for Wardley, having gained British, Commonwealth, Continental and European titles - the next test is the world level and as a 2 time world champion who is on his own pathway back to contention - a fight between these two would be immense. Potential future contender against a former champion trying to climb back to the top. Perfect fight to make. True jeopardy fight for both men. I think both would take that fight if offered. Neither man backs away from a challenge. Alongside that, and sticking with both the British heavyweight scene and the theme of potential future challengers - Moses Itauma. Wach was a step up in quality and was destroyed. McKean was another level up and was taken out even quicker. There's another British heavyweight who has been very vocal about viewing himself as being amongst the best for the future of boxing in David Adeleye - put that on an AJ-Wardley undercard. Adeleye is a much better fighter than McKean and is still a relative novice to the pro ranks - so how about that one?
1.Wilder needs a few tune ups first before facing any real opponent 2.Wilder vs Miller/Ruiz- if Wilder wins then AJ 3. AJ vs Wilder 4. Winner of AJ vs Wilder faces Bakole in Africa in December 2025- in Rwanda, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana- all good countries capable of hosting the fight.
Bakole clearly didn’t understand the British slang of “beef” so the host tries to make it more simple by using “needle” instead? Of course Bakole didn’t understand, are all Talksport pundits thick by design or is it an unfortunate accident?

Great fight. Again if Joshua loses or Bakole loses, WHO CARES.. we’d still wanna see..
