Calico makes up about 19 miles of world-class trail. The North side of this legendary track offers plenty of alpine vistas and more than enough chunk to keep you on your toes. Please enjoy Chris Boice and myself sampling some proper moto trail on our plastic bicycles. If you hear your rims hitting rocks, you are in the right place. Put this one on your short list. Last week we rode the South side of Calico and then descended Priest Gulch. No bad choices up here.

This was ridden on my Yeti SB160e. Most people shuttle this trail but it is actually mostly climbable on the EMTB.

If someone clips a pedal and rolls down that hill at the beginning of the video, is it mandatory for them to should "As you wish!" on the way down a la Princess Bride?

Dang!! If you have a hiccup in some of those sections you might still be rolling down hill a week later. Crazy exposure. Looks a bit nippy.
