the same way people like screamo or deep roars throughout entire deathmetal songs.
You listen a while, you get used to it, it becomes the usual, and then you appreciate the talent involved.
Actually I can't stand listening to some 'normal' music, too slow paced after nightcore :)
If you take the time to find songs you like and get used to it (really not that long), you'll come to prefer nightcore
