This is just sad it shows how broken Alan was he was this loving with Jason when he was a little boy and Jason treated him like a monster. Emily he doesn't hate you no but he stopped loving him and it broke him. He was also Emily's father she knew he loved his children.

@@jrchandlerfan2.019 I disagree with you.....I considered Sonny a good man with a bad childhood....but he was thoughtful and gentle and caring....Jason of course changed after his accident but he was still very much a decent loving caring man.....Carly had issues too but she was a very strong woman....and as far as I could see....a lot of the problems in PC was not entirely Sonny's fault....his business was bad but people came after him....a lot of the times it was other people minding his business that caused problems....eg....candyboy.
