Come on folks, it's just a matter of cracking our voice. It's easy once you get the hang of it. R saying "A" in a normal note range, then shift it to a much higher pitch by saying "e". Your voice should crack while doing both these sounds. If you find your not cracking our voice, start off by singing a normal note sound, and slowly raise your voice pitch upwards on the music scale. Keep letting your voice rise higher, to a point where you'll hear your voice crack, like it does with yodeling. The note you sang at low pitch, say "a", and then rise up your voice to the point where it cracked, and say "e". You should be making only two sounds, a low pitched "a", and then a high pitch "e". Do this slowly for a spell where your comfortable in doing so. Once you have that down pat, speed up the rhythm of bouncing between those two sounds. It should begin to sound like our yodeling. After learning this, Begin saying "Little old a Lady", over and over again, in the same manner by cracking your voice. Slowly speed the words up as you get used to saying "Little old a lady" See, your now on your way to yodeling. Not so impossible, now is it.
My voice always cracked and I never managed to have a mixed voice good enough to fix it... and the day I start yodeling it doesn't crack anymore when flipping from chest to falsetto. I'm so pissed off right now
