16:05 this man said on Baron you don't always want to suck a target as fast as you can... sometimes you want to suck a little extra long... so while your sucking with Baron you dont want to look who you target directly in the eyes in order to prolong the performance of the ultimate... If you look at them too long while sucking they will come too fast and so you want to slow it down by rotating into a little side suck every now and again but maintaining range so you can make sure to finish them off when your ready... 20 seconds later well that didn't work at all he came right into me there very good play 😂😂😂.

That fight at 15 minutes. Amazing, he stood his ground against 2 until athena ulted to him and then confirmed at least 1
Another tip is the bonus dmg from passive actually apply’s to things like soul reaver soul gem and even things like mages blessing’s tick dmg. Also the ult will instantly stack full hysteria for a one shot combo. The combo I like doing is 3 4 auto 1 auto 2 for squishier targets and for tanky targets I like 4 1 3 2 to set up for a kill late game on someone such as a solo laner or support
You can avoid his ult by also placing yourself near a wall or any obstacle inbetween you and baron, so you wont get sucked that easily. For example, the phoenixs circle space, those thin walls from buffs, or any corner around the map,etc.
I'll never forget barons release people literally stopped playing including me myself till he got nerfed. I love playing him now tho

I’d personally start of with warriors blessing, then replace Obsidian shard with Spear of Desolation, and replace Shield of Regrowth with Typhoons Fang. After that you’ll have insane cooldown and healing so you can spam 123 and sustain insanely well in team fights.
I prefer the sequence of 3 2 1, because 2 takes longer to explode so if you do in that sequence it explodes together with 1
One thing that was not mentioned (and if it’s been fixed, please correct me) but the succ can only be TEMPORARILY beads’s.
I.E: you’re getting sucked, pops beads, you try to walk away, only for beads to wear off and then you get mega succ’d. Usually, best options are: a) dash/jump away. If you can’t then you wanna aegis juuuust as soon as you get hit by the stun. Most of the damage is done in that end burst.
As a tank, a good rule is that, if you see one of your squishies getting pulled, is to just take the burst. Better you get hit than your late game hunter!
On his release his ult used to succ so hard. Had more range, and pulled you faster. Release Baron was a nightmare to play against.
@@kriegaone3658 the range has never been altered since his release, and it only sucked you faster because it applied more hysteria per hit. That being said, it was a nightmare.
It's because hysteria is applies on hit, and the damage ticks count as hits. Beads will prevent the pull on each hit during its duration, but the hysteria and damage still go through, making you potentially have over half hysteria by the time it has, and thus you get pulled hard. It is bot at all a bug, and thus it will not be fixed. It is working as intended.

Chris For age Hou Yi’s is the worst, his ult looks awesome but everything else looks the same. Baron’s is awesome but Kuku takes #1
One of my favorite T5s in the game next to Thanatos, Ares, and Anubis. Alot of people hate it but im not too picky and think its amazing. However there is no arguing when people bring up thats its not much for 100$ which is a fact but like I said im not picky.

Wouldn't Charon's Coin be a better pick than Obsidian Shard? You get the Pen and even more stacking movement speed.

Question: why build Obsidian Shard instead of Charon's Coin? The passive would proc on your 3, which is kind of pointless. Wouldn't it be better to have some bonus Hp5/movespeed?
If you're not planning to get Coin in the first 3 slots its not worth to build it at all, takes to long to stack.
@@andyfox4484 That's not true, but ok. You can also build it for the MP5 in a double flat pen build. E.g. for current patch on Merlin I usually go CDR boots > Deso > Divine > Reaver > Charon's > Myrddin and I sell my boots late for Soul Gem.

I prefer Baron in the solo lane with mantle of discord and pridwen. I use him as more of a 2nd support.
I mean, Solo lane baron is basically a 2nd support in the lategame anyway (since he's not really a frontliner). Pridwen is fine on him but im not sure you want it in Solo, since usually you pick up breastplate of valor in your build.
The fact that you didnt end the ability guide with the 3 so u can say " to wrap it up .. wrap it up " is really disappointing

Incon, Incon, Incon... I love the vids, but there is so much wrong information in them! Right off the bat with his passive you said something incorrect! It doesn't boost only his ability damage towards max hysteria targets; it boosts all of his damage towards max hysteria targets - including that of his basic attacks...
It also only stacks up to 70: not the "100" that you said that it does...
The three doesn't root enemies it spreads to for 1s but rather it spreads the ramp-to-root AFTER a target has been too close to the original for 1s' time - provided said original is at 30+ hysteria at the time - and deals the full damage instantly.

He was dead either way even if he ulted? Lmao and he’d further put him self at risk of dying than just running to tower by being a stationary target for Kuku/Rav to beat on and throw abilities into being in his ult as baron. He wasn’t wrong for not ulting. Better to just save the ult than waste it, even with lower cooldowns. Same rule applies for actives like beads and aegis. If you know for a fact you’re gonna die, it best to keep the actives for the next time you’re up and alive. And for the Pele, she was a lost cause playing up into 3-4 people. Why risk trying to “save” someone as a mid lander and just feed the team a double. You’re not support so it’s best to not even try to play the support role as a mid laner. The Pele got bursted before he could even do anything.

It's a tier 5 skin. Hirez add them a couple of times a year, they are super expensive but they change along the match.
^^what everyone else said. This skin is about a Space Marine getting corrupted and turning into an alien as the match progresses.
There’s also a few other Gods with these types of skins, Anubis, Kulkulkahn, and I think 2 others?

Why puch trash?
His damage is easy to avoid, bad early game clear, huge mana consumption as well what makes it even worse, to easy to kill. And the benefits he offer for all of this trouble are not worth it, his late game burst is high but there are better mages with similar potential, the only thing unique and good about him it's the healing counters builded into his kit, but it's not enough, you can just pick a stronger mage and build antihealing on them.
He is a good candidate for some kind of rework after Loki.
