Sorry to hijack your discussion about dual shocks….I have a hard time dealing with my rear drum brake (driver side). It won’t come off. I tried everything from loosening the brake screw to using a torch to heat the shaft collar and even using a 20 ton bottle jack with no success. I tried using a cast iron drum puller that attaches to the lug nuts and bolts. Nothing. It ripped the thing apart. What can I use? Im ready to just cut the drum brake in half with a cutoff wheel. Please help.
The PV needs it because the short springs require increased damping to control the front end. Since the 140 (in usual ride heights) has a much better/longer spring travel, the B6 Bilsteins will control the suspension perfectly. However, to answer your question directly: no, the PV twin shock pins will not fit the 140 at all.

Where did you get the kit to have front disk on a 544 ?
can this also be modded to work on the 140 series ?
