Rimmel: Kate Moss Matte Lipstick-review/swatches

- Hey everyone, this video is just a mini review and swatches of 8 of the new Kate Moss matte lipsticks from Rimmel. The shades included are 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 109, and 113. I hope you guys enjoy this video and please feel free to leave any comments down below!
Also, in order to make shade 113 work for my lips I finally applied a pinky/neutral lipliner underneath as a base coat so that the lipstick would show better on my lips (as they are a bit more pigmented for that color)

That's awesome! I am so glad that you enjoy the videos-and thank you for the sweet compliment. I do have other lipsticks that are not so flattering but I just chose the ones that do look good on me and that I enjoy-but trust me there are plentttyy that don't look so great lol.

Love their blushes and lipsticks and their HD shadows also their lip liners as well & they have great mascara a too.

yeah, I think it might just be the different pigmentation in our lips, but hey, maybe I need to give it another try. Glad that the lipsticks turned out well for you! Another pretty pink shade is Airy Fairy from the lasting finish collection (brown packaging)

yeah, I understand what you mean. I have not really had many chances to wear those colors except on that rare special occasion-I just don't find myself wearing bold lipstick on the everyday basis although I suppose I should.

I picked up 4 of these today because they were on sale at Walgreens... They're ammaaazing.
yes, I can see what you mean. This is when I was using natural lighting which did not help with the quality as much-but these shades did show true to color on the video. I think it may be a bit hard just because these shades are similiar to one another with subtle differences. I just filmed a video where I swatch two of these pink shades in muchhh better lighting if you would want to check that out-it would be up within the week.

I agree with you 100%! I can't get enough of them! I just saw that they released new lipstick creams from Rimmel in the UK. I really hope they bring it to the U.S soon! They are the Rimmel Apocalip creams I think. :)
Yes I love 107- I brought it last week! And it stays on for around 3-4 hours, and does last through eating and drinking but tends to fade a bit, but overall a great lipstick, and worth buying, it also has a nice smell and taste! I would recommend it :) let me know if you purchase it :)
I have the 109 and it's a great color! It's coral but not too orange or too red.

I will have to see if I can't find that, thanks for the suggestion. I know...I usually get nervous around reds because it's easy for your teeth to look yellow. :( I'm glad the swatches helped.

That's really suprising since they have more Rimmel products in the UK than in the USA. I wouldn't really know what to tell you since I don't know anything about shopping in the UK. I would suggest looking for the products on websites like ebay or beautyjoint. Hope that helps!
I definetely agree with you,to me Kate mate series are the only lipsticks which can compete with famous high-end Mac's.I got most of them and 107 is my favourite shade of all time,enyoj your goodies hon..:)

I believe that is OPI's Skull & Glossbones. It's from an old collection, but you can still purchase it off of ebay.

yes, I can see what you mean. On the sticker they look identical, when swatched on my wrist, they look very different, and then on the lips they both look very similiar again. I would say that it might be hard to tell the difference in these just because the only difference is the tone to the shade...08 is more of a lightbrown tone and 104 is a deeper mauve tone.They are thier own color-but sublte differences. fraternal, not identical twins. :)

As far as I know they Red one is matte and the black can have a different finish. The quality for both are just as amazing.

Yeah I've really been liking thier blush.
Love love this liptstick I have all. I never actually wore lipstick because I think it will look nasty on my lips but decided to try it and I feel in love. First I got 111 kiss of life and I underline my lips with Sonia kashuk lip pencil and my lips were reAlly great. And what I liked about it is that I had and event and this choose was at the last minute thing and since it was my first time wearing lipstick I got so many compliments and some of my friends ask me how I didn't it.

I like these lipsticks as well, but I'm going to agree with the person who said they're more expensive in Europe. They're about 6 pounds in the UK (which is around 8-9 dollars?)

I got the one in 19 Rossetto, & it's a beautiful color, wish one you should get! :). I xas affraid to take a red, which doesn't going well on me but thanks to you I know that n°113 is perfect! :)
I found the full range at my local kmart as well as my local walgreens. I know that some displays only feature five of the shades but I have been very lucky. I would reccomend trying out a few local drugstores to see what selection they have if you have not already. I'm not sure why they are splitting up these displays anyways, but I really do hope you found them soon. Sorry I couldn't be much help, but I think it just depends on your area.

I have actually been looking for that answer myself-I havn't found or seen anything to suggest that they would be, but I really hope they are! I would think they if they were you would have found them with the other lipsticks by now-as most brands are starting to put thier new items with thier regular collection. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

i have number 113.. and it makes my lips look cakey... like i just ate a powdered doughnut... that's my only problem.
Sometimes they make certain ones with an odd ingredient combo, so that might be why its like that. Try some more and see how those are
