With GmB posts. On one account my posts are showing up fine when checking them on Google. On another, it seems the images are not. Any idea why? I have done a number of posts already for this account but now this started happening. I can post content, but no images.

That means if you have cell phone service through a company and they charge you per text message, then Google doesn't take responsibility for this. Texting from your GV number to another US number is free. I'm not sure about internationally though

Not that I know of. I realize you probably want to use Google Sites because it's free, but WordPress will be better suited for your needs

You can still use the domain name with another website. Simply add a DNS A record to point to the IP address of your new website server/host.
