If you could only have 1 engraving bit which 1 would you use for an all around? What brand ?

The most common gravers used for engraving are 90° and 120° V-Point gravers. Most cuts can be done with either of those geometries. As far a brand, we are partial to C-Max® and GlenSteel® gravers. grs.com/product-category/products/gravers-accessories/c-max-gravers/ grs.com/product-category/products/gravers-accessories/glensteel-gravers/

11:07 You can tell that the artist has more skills when he can set bigger stone in a thinner plate.
