alright fam, Dennaton is no more working on the HLM series, Dennis even announced on Twitter in 2016 that there's no Hotline Miami 3, thus the Dennaton devs are gone on each's own business and sometimes they still work together (crucially IGN last years said Dennis posted a feed on Instagram about their game's concept and their kind of platform/genre, though Dennaton is back to work, there's no mentioning about the HLM series). People never find the true ID of Jacket beside his nickname, "Jacket" in 80s is dead, but the "Jacket" appeared in Payday 2 as likely a tribute to the one in the past, maybe Overkill want to tell people Jacket never dies, but the real one Jacket is fueled with hatred mind and vengeance soul for the Russians, not a Jacket who spends wastefully his life to be on heist. that's it, i'm done explaining, go research yourself all what i say.

When l first did this level, I played as Tony and dang, it was tough, but I did it. So now, whenever I hear this song, I always remember Tony. This is Tony's theme.

I love this. The name "Magic Sword" and the repeating synth notes bring to mind images of fantasy-themed beat-em-ups and sidescrollers and things like bowling alley arcades and stuff.

playing through the game repetitively on hard mode, and coming back to this one on normal was weird. yet somehow nostalgic, as if it was an early memory. i had so much fun playing it, probably one of my favorite levels from that alone.
probably one of the best levels in the game, especially as Tony. running around the building punching people to death while this song played felt fantastic (i am also a massive Magic Sword fan since before this game)
I use windows and the first game had continuous sprite glitches that started with the floor disappearing going to every sprite disappearing, including the options in the pause menu. I would have to continuously restart my game, only being able to get through a few levels at a time before the glitch happened. No problem with the second game, thankfully.
what a cool ass song. the opening gives me a bunch of halloween and journey vibes. mixed with one of my favourite levels. it all fits together very well

Oddly enough my Mac can run hotline Miami 2 better than my PC. And my PC is brand new with nothing but steam, HLM2, and Notepad++ on it.
I mean, I can buy a brand new calculator at the dollar store, but it can't do a whole lot compared to the TI-84 I used in high school.
