- Hi all, in today’s video I’m showing you how I make my cute beaded toadstools you will need:
Seed beads size 8 in red and white
Seed beads size 11 in beige
6lb fire line
Beading needle
Head pin
Wire cutters
Round nose pliers

a good trick if u want your stalk a little bit longer but already tied it off: just put one bead on the headpin after your stalk, so between the stalk and head thingy

Hi! Yes it should be fine to use nylon string you might have to sew through the beads a few more times at the end just to make it a bit sturdier but it should work ok :)

Hi, thank you, I use 1.5 inch/4cm pins and they are 1mm thick, I hope this helps :)

Can I use the same size bead for the cap and stock or does it need to be a size bigger?
You can use the same size it should still work :)
How many red beads do you think you used??
do you need smaller beige beads than red?
Yes it works best if the beige beads are smaller. It will work with the same size but won’t look the same :)

I bought some beads but they are difrent sizez like one is a bit longer then the other ones
Hi, that tends to happen with cheaper unbranded seed beads, some of the best brands are miyuki, preciosa and toho, they are all pretty much the same shape and size
