If you're having a hard time put all that juice back....but tea and water. Put back the $17 fruit roll ups....$300 on pretty much just snacks could be turned into meals. Kids will have to adjust to the inflation prices and not getting everything they want just like we all have.

I need to budget. I wish I would have learned about credit as a child . Now I’m 29 with 10 credit card That equal to a little bit over 4k . Now I’m trying to pay them down. @Star Bad just by red beets in juice and use that juice to make your eggs. We can our own redbeets, so we used them when making pickled eggs. Good luck Peach I hope you try to make them 😁
Making koolaid like I did back in the day add your own sugar! Make a couple pitchers a day and put in cups with lids so they know what they have for the day.

Instead of buying the little bites. Get a mini muffin pan and some mini cupcake liners and use cheap muffin and cake mixes and make mini cupcakes. You can freeze them in a freezer bag so they stay fresh longer.

Make a big batch of muffins and freeze them. Sooo much cheaper and mashed potatoes are sooo easy to make and taste better then the dry ones. 😘

A lot of my older relatives grew up during the Great Depression and I learned how to budget and meal plan from them. My uncle and his friend go in together on getting half a cow and half a pig from a local farmer and my uncle gives me some of the meat.

I’m going through that right now, had a cleaning contract for 20 years loss it in the beginning of May so yeah had to face reality. Thank god I own my condo & cars.

Groceries are expensive here in Australia everything is constantly going up. Its hard to keep ahead but, like yourself, I always have good freezer and pantry stock. It use to cost me around $20-25 weekly to feed my little Shih Tzu it now costs me around $70. Shes fussy wont eat just anything either. Meat is ridiculously priced 500 grams of Ground Mince was $4.99 its bow $11.00.

I always use a calculator when I’m food shopping and I get food stamps. I always budget to only spend $300 too because I have to make the food last until the middle of the next month. I have two boys 12 & 8 they eat up everything😩

If you're so concerned and worried about going over budget, why get the children whatever they want knowing prices are high? Some of those snacks y'all got could've at least been left off and those noodles gorgeous got just to try them that's $16 and she might not like them is a total waste of money. Y'all could've got the 5 ok at publix or Walmart. They will have to adjust to not getting everything they want or you'll starve. They don't always need snacks or that much snacks at all.
