you can cheese the rare mineral bulling a little by flattening out a whole bunch of area for waste rock. I usually do that when I have the waste rock transmutation building. I mean it is cheesing but not really since you have a nice flat area to build on too!

Yeah 100% I could just flatten the entire map down to sea level but that's kinda too cheaty lol. 😂😎

@@CadePlaysGames well I was not thinking about going THAT far but there are a lot of rock formations that don't need to be there, and you could build more ramps and stuff lol or just terraform the whole thing to sea level and pave it over... Jobs done :)

@@smoore6461 The rare metals thing chews up an insane amount of waste rock so you'd struggle to keep it fed, I'd rather just make more things like concrete extractors to produce more waste rock 🤔

@@CadePlaysGames Sure long run that's the way to go, I was thinking short term where you are out of waste rock, and you wanted to get a boost of income from sending rare minerals back. Like when you are trying to get the money to buy a second rocket. I only ever do it in the game when I need flattened area already (or a ramp), but I will do that terraforming sooner than I might need it to get a stockpile of rare minerals (also keeps the factories going when you doing have a mining facility yet.) It's not a long-term plan for success. Just a short-term way to get a good stockpile of waste rock going and it allows me to run multiple rare minerals factories that my concrete factory can't keep up with. Either way, it's just an idea. :)

@@smoore6461 Yeah I always do my ramps and stuff very early on, to give access to the entire map and to make some waste rock. Most of the time I make the ramps to have the minimum amount of waste rock needed but in this case maybe I shoulda tried to maximise it!🤔
