picking Lady Quilen is not a bad shout, because you need her for the Mikage fusion, so that is one champion less you need to pull from shards. But if you want the most useful from start, it's rector Drath for sure. But you can pick both I guess. so I would go: first: Rector Drath and second, Lady Quilen. That way, you get a good leveling champion and you get the fusion champion for later on. Sun Wukong is the top pick for the promo code for sure. I hope it still works in 2025 when I'm gonna create my 2025 F2P account, which I plan to play for a year and see how the progress is after that.
Why not start the account and use the code for Wukong, and then just don't touch it? It's very likely he won't be available by then

Id either do this or just buy a starter RSL account for like 20 bucks with any champion of your choice; ie Siphi, Georgid, even mythicals. Helicath moght be the best option

@yes3858 I bought an account with a Siphi for 20, years ago. They're starter accounts who've accumulated login rewards and they use some for summons. Some will come with older login champs like ninja, others newer. Just Google rsl starter accounts
