@@PriyaPans not the one you're asking but i would do the pole with like a round flat base like they do for idk summer umbrellas on the beach and then the base would be fitted into a pocket in the hat or something
@@PriyaPans there are a few ways! I could make it out of felt and interfacing (basically a very stiff fabric) and sew it in at an angle. Or I could make the pole out of leather and wire. I could also make it out of thermoplastic. also make cosplay to so I could sculpt a little cap circle out of thermoplastic and attach that to the finished hat as decoration

The scariest character is the one you're playing as since they don't seem super bothered by being followed by corpses... they just really want to golf. Pretty psychotic
My theory is they did some insane hard drugs, went to golf, were asked to leave. So they k!lled those staff members. Now their corpses are following them like a telltale heart.

FOR THOSE INTERESTED (LONG): Basically, this game is about a person who has been possessed by some sort of strange deity that is/represents the golf course. The lawn care company, "Greener Grass", seems to be a cult dedicated to a different deity (the one fought and destroyed at the end) and they are attempting to take over the golf course (and possibly replace it with a forest of evil trees? like the ones attacking the player in the end). (One of the analyses I saw referred to the Greener Grass entity as a sort of parasite.)
I'm not sure WHY, but it seems that the Golf Course deity needs to use a physical body to defeat the "Greener Grass" deity. The phrasing of "Choose Body" and "This Body Cannot Swim" reaffirms this. The "I MUST GOLF" text preventing the player from leaving the course may then be a sort of mental block against "the body" by the Golf Course entity to keep them from leaving. The fact that both the security guard reacted "normally" to the player at first (8:42), then seemed horrified when the player gets too close makes it seem like he could, close up, see that the player is not human, but merely masquerading as one.
When the player gets into the caddy house (28:23)-which, btw, confirms that the player is NOT the killer, given that there is no way they could have gotten there and killed already (especially given the attendant's warning before then)-and are transported to the alternate(?) dimension, we can see that the blood of a sacrificed Golf Club member is creating/powering the magical golf ball. The statues in the forest are people who have joined/been taken by the Greener Grass deity/cult; they are all posed as if dancing (as in the "bizarre ad", more on that later) and they all have their faces are ripped open into smiles (29:29, creepy). (When the player is caught and attacked by the people on the course, they have their face ripped open, presumably into a similar smile (e.g. 15:30, jumpscare).) (We later see that the Greener Grass deity has a huge smile as well.)
When the player gets through the forest, the text "pop the blister" and "kill the tree" (30:17) are in the same font used for the player's voice (like when replying to the guard and attendant). This may be because, rather than being instructions to the Video Game players, it's instructions to "the body" from the Golf Course deity. The first time the player meets the Greener Grass deity, the text is "generic." (31:18). The phrasing "you cannot kill *_A_* god" is interesting as well, as it "confirms" that there are multiple gods, one of which is possessing the player. The god also states "you will join me eventually. everyone does." He wants the player to join his creepy cult so he can have more sacrifices (/dinner?).
The second time the player meets the Green Grass deity (33:48), he says "now I realize who I'm talking to. no matter. your suit of flesh is fragile." Because he's talking to another god, the one he's trying to take over the course from, and the player is just a meat-suit. "I will break it open and you will pour out."
GOD VS GOD
When the player wakes up after killing the Greener Grass Diety (35:38), the player's voice/inner monologue is in a completely different text, and they are clearly confused. The Golf Course deity has left their body.
GREENER GRASS'S "BIZARRE AD": Honestly, you should look it up if you're curious, because the whole thing truly _is_ bizarre. In essence, it's basically a musical video encouraging viewers to join their cult, and when you watch it through that lens, it's kinda obvious and _definitely_ freaky af. (There are multiple points, like briefly shown at 36:27, where it looks like they're trying to hypnotise their audience.)The "specialists" shown in the ad (as well as on the poster at 13:05) are the ones attacking the player as they try to golf. (In particular, when one of them attacks the player (e.g. 15:30) as well as when they first reach the caddy house (28:05), if you slow it down/go frame by frame, his smile and dead eyes are recognizable as the brown-haired guy from the ad (36:33).) The "specialists" all have giant smiles through the whole ad, and when the the "customer" accepts Greener Grass, she gets a giant smile too.
_(This came from me watching _*_other people's_*_ analysis videos about it, because I was so confused and interested (and SCARED) that I looked it up.)_

Soo i have AuDHD and severe time blindness. Last time I watched their NEW video, I was like 13 still living at home with my father. I’m now 21, was in foster care, and already have a hard time understanding I’m not like 17 anymore cuz of the time blindness and weird life timeline. This channel is both saving my life and completely confusing my broken brain about how old I actually am. Yesterday I watched the latest video before this one before sleeping, and when my WORK alarm went off at 9pm for an overnight shift I thought it was my school alarm going off at 5am like it used to. this game is absolutely terrifying and extremely well designed, the pacing, music and story reveal were so good, it didn't need a huge budget when it was so well done. phil was great at keeping dan calm, and i loved how dan kept saying 'excuse me' to all the scary faces and the way they kept clapping every time they did well no matter how terrifying the situation was; i cover the screen when i watch the horror games and my hand was getting so tired at the end of this

I haven’t felt this level of discomfort and fear during a gaming video since I was 12 and Slender was popular. I’m in my 20s now. Genuinely without the creepypasta aspect, this game is a great successor, in my opinion.

The craziest thing about Dan and Phil being back is that I used to watch them religiously between the ages of 10-14, I went to the interactive introverts tour, and they were just a huge comfort for all the things I was dealing with when I was younger. Now, three months from today exactly, I will be 18, and they will be here to comfort me dealing with adult shit, and I’m just so glad that they are posting here again.
