I love how their theme is like late 15th century Italy(it was not called Italy at that time but im confused what to call it so..) and her family name is Lombardy which is actually a real city. I came to know this when i was reading about the San Carlos Borromeo and was wondering why Lombardy where he was born sounded so familiar. Anyway i love Italian Renaissance themed stories so this is a must read definitely.
when you say the theme is like late 15th century Italy are you referring to the style and clothing? (I'm Italian btw)
the most correct name would be Florence, because the vibe that Lombardi gives is a lot similar to the power that the Medici family held in Italy at the time. The held a duchy to be precise (switch back and forth with a republic and other form of government)
Although the clothing are a bit different, the feeling is the same
15th century Lorenzo the Magnificent held so much authority that balanced out the whole Italy with his skills in diplomacy. Close enough with the sense of power that Lombardi gives
