Not only that, i used my "EX FAT" win instalation that all other PC recognize but this one whants only "FAT" partitions which gave me a lot of trouble trying to figure out why it doesnt see my usb, and then after i fix that i get this no disk problem, but in my Hp the disk is Samsung; what i did was unticked the "hide incompatibile drivers box" and instaled intel drivers anyway. Vanja puno hvala LEGENDO!

Well done! Very helpful for re-imaging or freshly installing Windows on these rubbish laptops! What a pain these HP 250 G8 laptops are!!! Even the trackpad doesn't work, nor the cursor keys, when you boot to a standard Windows 10 install USB to reimage them. Not even an external USB keyboard and mouse. You need to use the tab, space and enter keys to navigate and get the file linked in this video to access the storage and delete all the partitions before starting fresh.
any idea to fix the trackpad? i tried windows 10 all versions home pro updated and no way that the trackpad works!! what a waste of time these computers, can u solve this problem? i tried drivers and nothing... i get a message from device manager that some HID device cant start working or some like that... any help?
@@srv2212 According to your description I think that in your case is a hardware problem, that it is a defective component (TrackPad or TrackPad Ribbon Flex Cable...)
@@MrVanjaRR well wasn't a hardware problem thank to god!! i tried with elan touchpad driver for windows 11 and the driver for the uart IO in the chipset and it works, with the drivers for w10 doesnt work at all, so the solution is in the drivers for w11, thanks anyway...
This solved the problem with the lack of SSD drivers, which is essential for the entire OS installation to continue. Now you need to go to the HP site and for your laptop model you need to download the appropriate drivers for : Network, Audio, Touchpad ... You put everything on USB stick and install them or through the search on the laptop you will find Device Manager ... now watch smoe tutorial : How to install drivers through Device Manager :D

@@franefranefrane6236 U pitanju je drajver za cip-kontroler koji vrsi kontrolu/prepoznavanje SSD-a, to nema na HP sajtu (Ne pitaj zasto). Ovaj iz videa je sa Intelovog jer j on proizvodjac tog cipa, no kod tebe je nesto drugacije ili negdje gresis.

@@MrVanjaRR Yes and Yes. But I find where the problem is, it looks like it's a faulty SSD after all. The Bios is not detecting it, after pressing F2, you have options/tools to check memory and disc drives, and there is a saying that " no disk drive installed " After inspecting it with a magnifying glass, I noticed a burn on one of the fuses near the controller.
You should watch one of the many video how to install windows operating sistem. 1. You need to creating a bootable usb drive with WinOS 2. Start the laptop and press F9 to enter the Boot menu 3. ... and so on !!! Be sure to delete all existing partitions created by the previous OS during installation, in your case FreeDOS !!!
Bro, I have an HP Probook 430 i5 G7, I tried this, it's still giving me problems, what do I do? Side note : I tested the hard drive on another pc as an external, it works perfectly.
Hi Carl ;) ,The HP Probook 430 G7 does not have this problem. In the company where I work we only use the Probook G2, G3, G4, G5, G7 and now G8 (I use one with touchscreen) and I never had that problem. I would start out with the BIOS setup : Security , FastBoot... How do you install Windows, from USB or DVD? Try both UEFI or Legacy mode.

I'm using a bootable USB flash drive to install Windows, to be totally honest, I'm only starting to learn about PC's at large so I don't have experience when it comes to issues like these, also the BIOS, I was thinking of updating it via USB to check if maybe that's where the problem might be. Currently the laptop refuses to change to legacy on boot settings, it says I should change "...Optane..." something, that threw me off.
@@SiyandaCarl Try to prepare USB with Rufus application. You have a lot of instructions on RUclips. If the PC is running well no need to update the BIOS :) , be careful. You need to turn off secureboot in BIOS to change to Legacy. But it is better to prepare a UEFI bootable installation on Windows USB with the help of Rufus app.
Fun fact, I had a problem where I dont have a cursor showing on the windows intallation screen. Turns out it doesnt recognize the touchpad as a pointing device, so I had to plug in a usb mouse for a cursor to appear. So stupid...
Same thing here. Also when you plug in the USB mouse and connect a USB storage in the other port it disables the USB mouse. Seems like they rushed this product out because it has lots of issues.
Hi @SWAG T I have not had such a case : "not signed drivers" . If you took/download them from Intel web site, and if you have the option to continue despite the warning I would continue.

@@MrVanjaRR I've downloaded it, extracted it and put it in a pen drive. It does detect the file but it says something about the digital signature and doesn't do anything

@@MrVanjaRR SOLVED! I tried to install a fresh version of WIN 10 on a DVD and tried to load the drivers using a pen drive, I tried multiple driver versions and nothing was working. What I did to solve this: I made a new windows 10 (latest version) bootable pen drive and put the needed drivers directly in the bootable USB containing the OS! I hope this helps other people having the same issue!

The images were written using RUFUS ? You need to created a bootable media with a Windows 10 image using the Media Creation Tool and try.

I don't have the problem where I can't fine the hard drives. I downloaded windows when start the laptop still uses freedos

Udji u BIOS F10 i reci mi model SSDa koji se nalazi u laptopu. Pokusaj ponovo mozda nesto propustas.

Mine dont work, it shows tens of them not two and none of them work are not comparable .
You did not follow the instructions and download the appropriate driver from Intel's website.
