Please don't sell yourself short. I watch you because I adore your passion and repertoire, your talent not just at playing, but at spreading your contagious love of synths and keyboards and music. I respect what you have to say and your goofyness is endearing. Please have at least as much love for yourself as we do for you?
Last year out of frustration with replacing my digital piano, I bought 3 Dpianos. Two high end and this Yamaha DGX-670, I love this Yamaha. Sounds fantastic (with my custom edited piano) and the 3 pedal system sounds just like an acoustic, best soft pedal I have ever heard. Been practicing on digitals with headphones out of necessity and love of my apartment neighbors for almost 40 years, this Yamaha DGX-670 is the first Dpiano I would call an instrument. I will be keeping all 3 Dpianos for the different actions so I can train to adapt to all of the stage pianos I am forced to play as a solo pianist. Acoustic solo pianists don't travel with their instruments :(
Woody makes all his demos down to earth, real, the "common man" type of reviews without all the bells n' whistles that sometimes gets in the way of demonstrating what it is really like for less talented players to identify.
That was an err interesting version of one of my favourite songs by Bruce Hornsby! :) Must say I love your hat! You should always wear it!! Cool stuff man!! The thing that amazes me the most though is the almost endless inspiration you get from playing the DGX! I mean, with all those synths/workstations in your shack, spending so much time with the DGX really does say something!! I know you have so many things to do but perhaps you'd consider doing a wrap-up on the DGX - the things you like and dislike about the instrument. If you're throigh making videos on it that is, which I am hoping you are not!! Cheers! Tunka
@@WoodyPianoShack Brilliant!! Thanks so much Woody!! I think this is easly one of the most fun instruments you've had in the shack, rivalling the videos you did for the PSR-SX900 as well as the Nautilus, MODX6 and the simply wonderful Triton with the MOSS expansion board. I can't even tell you how many times I watches those! Cheers!
Wondered what the name of the style was for the last song. I was not familiar with the song so had no idea what all the 'face pulling' and 'lost for words' was all about. Sounded fine to me.
SHANICE - I LOVE YOUR SMILE 1990 - THEY DON;T MAKE SONGS LIKE THIS ANYMORE. IF ANYONE TRIES THIS STYLE ( DRUMS ESPECIALLY) PEOPLE COMMENT - OUTDATED DRUMS, OLD STYLE, BOOO ! DISGUSTING ! ETC. WELL, ACCORDING TO THEM, WE SHOULD ERASE ALL MUSIC AND ONLY MAKE THE NEW STYLES. BRUNO MARS MAKES THE OLDER STYLES THE RIGHT WAY AND NOBODY ATTACKS HIM, I DON;T SEE OTHERS,,,, NOT MANY STYLES OF 30 YEARS AGO SOUND COOL TODAY MAYBE

These style flips are awsome! I'd love to hear a woody vengeance ballermania concerto...u still do vsts or?
have not played around with software for quite a while, have a room full of hardware synths i need to work through first...

Embrace the cheese 🎉
I'm starting to think Woody secret is working for RedHat and was told to sneakingly advertise the company....
funny you should say that, back in the early days of the channel i often wore an actual RedHat red hat that i got at javaone conference!
@@WoodyPianoShack I think he was referring to the Linux company 😁😁😆😆
Is it rong if I only use mine for classical piano? Haha🦊🎹🎶
that is the best thing you can use it for!
