The more I watch movies, the more it confirms that sooooo many people are in toxic, abusive relationships and do not know their own worth. It is sad to see so many grown people being talked to disrespectfully, disregarded as human beings, and accepting it. This is why I have told my daughter to focus on herself, discover who she is first and foremost before jumping into a relationship. Broken people attract broken people and thrive on the trauma bond. I want her to avoid this at all costs bc it truly breaks my heart.

I hate to see grown men cry and beg and accept being talked down to day after day. I noticed that Nollywood is producing more and more of those roles. The actor who does it more than anyone, without a doubt, is Christian Ochiagha. I get so tired of him doing that in movies. Great acting as usual & a great movie with life lessons. I was talking to a friend Monday & he was telling me that his mother abandoned them when he was 8. He’s in is 50’s now & you can still see the hurt. I watched this movie last night & it reminded me of his situation. What happens to people in their past good or bad sure does affect their future in some way.
