People always say CAS songs all sound the same. I think that's the best thing about them. I'm the type of person if I like a song, I want to find other songs that sound exactly like it. CAS does it the best.

They all sound the same but then it's the additional layer of the song's mood and lyrical themes. Most are about affection, loving and longing, but this one deals with death more so than most of them, which slots it into the number one spot on my list of favorites.
Truly, love has embodied itself. This is more than just Music. It’s emotion , expression, and most importantly love.

i don't understand how people say every cas songs sound similar , each of em is a masterpiece
I can understand why they say that.. But it is still beautiful..
fr i rlly do find them all different form each other and every one of them has a whole different vibe, but we as cas lovers and listeners we feel these songs with our heart from deep inside and fine the differences so easy to identify:))
Because its both. Only feel for the drummer as his job is the most difficult unless he is just that boring himself.
Because we're objective and not delusional. Given their lack of diversity of sound and song writing approach, it's not hard to hear why each song is similar to each other. This sounds like a variation on 'John Wayne'. Not saying it's bad because I actually like this song but let's be real here.
I think there's a similarity in their songs, but only because they have a certain sound and they stay true to that sound in all of their albums. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I can see how that could be used as a criticism. To each their own.

This gives the vibe of trying to romanticize your life and creating a song based on what you see around you. It’s like a song you will randomly sing because of the emptiness and the constant existential crisis. His songs is like written using memories…Love this band for always🖤

Few years ago CAS came to NYC and I watched them from the second row. I threw a rose at them that I held in my hand during all my favorite songs (literally all of them). At first I thought it was fated to remain on the floor of the stage. However, at the end Greg Gonzalez (the vocalis) lifted, hugged it and as he went bowing away to backstage, the rose went with him. That day I cried from the joy of being seen and connecting to the voice, presence of folks that may not know me but have always made me feel seen through their music and this important gesture. Thank you CAS, you've saved my heart from drowning, frowning innumerable times.
