this is one of the three consecutive wins that i felt was right and a deserved winner, that and 1994, both great songs. Still think Sonia had the edge in 1993 .. 😂 🇬🇧
I was only 19 myself back in 1992. The 90s was tough. It was hard to get a job in limerick back then. There are worse things in life then unemployment 😅😊.
Fabulous! Also love this song sung by Johnny Logan ( who wrote Why me ) saw Linda sing this a few weeks ago in Dublin - she is still as good as ever ! And I’m a huge Johnny fan and saw him also a few weeks ago sing this and many others !! Absolutely fantastic xx 💚
Love this song cause you can interpret it as either someone excited to get married or equally a women terrified of her husband and wanting to get a divorce 😂😂
Beautiful song, absolutely flawless performance by Linda Martin, perfection. Mia Martini was my winner that year though, even if I understand why this won.
It was 3 in a row for Ireland, then an Irish style composition played by an Irish violinist representing Norway, then Ireland won again. They had won 3 times before too, previous to that. 7 total, with partial credit for one more. lol
Sorry that this is the first of your videos I’ve come across, but why do you want to make Eurovision love again? Over half of the best songs from the last 10 years would be impossible love. Music doesn’t work this way anymore Im afraid.
No light effects, no useless dancers, nothing more than a singer or a live band and orchestra. This was the Eurovision Song Contest for many years. Why isn't it now this way? Perhaps because the lack of talent must be camouflaged? Perhaps because the least important now are the songs?
Good but not one of Ireland's best entry. I think that Horoscopes,Somewhere in Europe,It's nice to be in love again and All kinds of everything are Ireland's best entries.
This was Ireland's golden run during Eurovision! For some reason they now just send no talent acts. Thier ratings bear this out! I also miss outstanding singers. Most of the bands recently are horrible, with no musicality!
Its my birthday today I'm 43 I was only 12 then and you still feel her soul singering these masterpieces peace and love to alll❤❤
Happy birthday 🎂
I was only 19 when this won 🏆 the eurovison. I was 51 on June 6th 2024.😅😊
I still love this masterpiece after all these years and it makes me so proud of the republic of Ireland and of being Irish
You do she is from the north, don't shut us out.

This was the best of Ireland’s wins in the 90’s. I adore this song to this day! What a a decade! 🥇
Love it when she says ‘why me’ at the end haha
Splendid..., muzică , voce , prezența...!
Fabulous song and singer. Ireland well deserved.
Go Johnny
I agree with you i love it
I was born that year, it's wonderful
Same. Was like 2 weeks b4 my birth.
A definitely masterpiece. Johnny Logan´s version (its composer) is a beautiful version as well.
wonderful song, written by Johnny Logan 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😘
Expressive performance.. well deserved
One of my favorite winners and definitely one of the best love songs...
No .. to much Drama
I remember this song in 1992 love this song it was great to see Ireland winning again 💚🤍🧡
The the very best song that Ireland has produced and a big well done to Linda to sing at a very high note absolute brilliant
Lovely Eurovision! Great song! Excellent performance! 😊🇬🇷
❤️🇮🇪
One of my favorite victory entries :)
Such a beautiful song
Beautiful ❤
Thank you mister jonny logan
The BEST winner Ever - I love this song
Masterpiece.......
Linda Martin-Why Me very nice👍😎❤️🤩!
I was 19 years old in 1992, went through some traumatic events back then, the song makes me cry my eyes out every time I hear it.
I was only 19 myself back in 1992. The 90s was tough. It was hard to get a job in limerick back then. There are worse things in life then unemployment 😅😊.
Together with 1987, this is the best Irish winner ever. Johnny Logan rocks 😎

Gosh, that dress and hair really didn't stand the test of time. lol
Check out ROBH.." high hair and silvery glittery one shouldery"
( thats the official fashion term i believe) look is the "look" this month
Iove Linda Martin offen went see her in the 80s 😃💚🤍🧡😄
The best Ireland's win in my opinion, but my winner this year was Italy❤
You know, even in 2023, I would LOVE to sport that hairstyle, even though it would mean breaking out the Aquanet hairspray!
This and Voice were best Irish victories. And Hold me Now
I was like 8 when I started to watch Eurovision. This song keeps me remember it... Thinking about the little mairaid, she looks like Ariel ❤️
❤❤❤❤
I love her voice....
We thrives in the 70-90s we ruled the 90s
❤
Love this song cause you can interpret it as either someone excited to get married or equally a women terrified of her husband and wanting to get a divorce 😂😂
True, but then the song would be titled "Why You"...and would have been hilarious
🧡♥️❤️.......💚..........💛💜💙
Why me
This was the time when Ireland could and win Eurovisions and no country could better them
Even in 1992 I thought it to be old fashioned
Beautiful song, absolutely flawless performance by Linda Martin, perfection.
Mia Martini was my winner that year though, even if I understand why this won.
Some of the tough 😢 jobs I have had over the yrs. I often wonder why me. It has not being all bad. There has being some good 👍 days.😊
semplicemente stupenda. per l'italia era in gara mia martini. con rapsodia. arrivo' quinta
Quarta!
Great song by Sean Sherrard
Inoubliable.

1992 - Eurovision of all the songs on that night if I was big in just say Disney this song would be the one the money song.
Beautiful women and song wery much. ❤❤❤❤❤
how many times in a row did ireland win in the 1990s?
we won three years in row 1992 1993 1994 and then in 1996
@@noelmcmahon3407 only 3? in my memories it were 5 times or so. anyway, thx

Niamh kavaaghan.
Nice song Michael Ball is still narked but 92 was one last time voting was fair and not political like now
I miss women singers sounding like women and not fairy pixies.
Make ireland great again 😂
😉
great song but i like italy more for no 1

This song is not bad but it didn't deserve to win: there was much better this year, like French, English or Maltese songs for example.
It was by far the best
I like this song but Michael Ball should have won!
Yes I think so Krystle, though quite close.
i never understood why this song won that year.
well now you do.

xaxaxaxa now its clear
May be because it was the best song 😜

Great song. Dreadful frock.
Nice song, BUT that year MALTA deserved to win!.
Agreed!
An good song but there were better ones that year. Deserved a place in the top 10, but not a winner for me :(
She has a weak voice, not a good singer at all. Niamh Kavanagh has a fabulous voice.
She came second once and one I don’t think Europe agrees
Very bad song. ReAlly bad😱
Overrated song and boring performance.
The entire 1992 contest was boring and this song is a perfect example.

Totally agree.
Would some fireworks have helped?

Yes, along with a new singer, lyrics and music.
Awful....Michael Ball should have won. X
Terrible song 🤮
Michael Ball was the Winner for me.
I’m a big Michael Ball fan, but he had a terrible song to sing at Eurovision it really was ‘One Step Out Of Time’ ouch .....
Judi Crothers I agree any other song was better.
But still way better than why me by Ierland .
