This is very interesting. A long time ago I used to do tech for theater and painted a lot of backdrops. We mostly used a "splatter" technique where you had really watered down paint and would hit it against your hand to splatter the surface with individual drops of paint. This allowed you to introduce any color you liked in any amount you wanted. when combined with lights that had colored gels on them you could bring up a color or tone it down. You may want to experiment with some cheap gels on lights. A red gel would warm up everything and bring out the mustard. Great video.

Thanks! I will totally experiment with light in future. Just wanted to see the true color first 😃

I was just telling a photographer friend about doing this! Also, I need to turn on notifications so I stop missing your posts. I'll be sharing this one, and I'll be clicking the bell now. :)

Hi, I have used the cheapest interior paint.

I like that you sewed the top for hanging. Have you had any issues with the thread ripping? Did you use a specific thread that was heavier for this?

I just used heavy duty cotton thread. No issues with sewing, the fabric is similar to linen, so it wasn’t too thick.

I used the cheapest indoor paint. Paint +primer for 2 base coats and regular paint for lighter colors.
