I was sooo waiting for a guide like this. Crafted unchained yesterday and was having a bit of problem with how to play and the combo lines. Thank you!!!
I know this is a bit older of a video but there's a variant of Unchained that uses Dark Beckoning Beast and Opening of the Spirit Gates instead of Tour Guide. Under Maxx C it gives one less draw due to the extra normal summon. Also, it enables some Elf plays like being able to make Yama untargetable. Spirit Gates also helps if you happen to open Blue Dog by being able to pitch it. I'm using that right now. I've also seen another build that uses both TGU and DBB engines for added consistency. And just one Dark Contract to search for off of Caesar.
If you need deck space I would suggest dropping the d/d/d package for two more Rakea as Rakea is also combo. You can then slot in an extra non engine or two. Rakea comes with the perk of helping you dodge imperm if you open up 3 card combos: Ns Rakea, set trap, Aruha in hand pop trap to ss, trap ss Shyama, shyama pop Aruha to ss sharvara (if imperm here you can Rakea quick effect pop shyama to dodge)
You are right...there is no way that sentence can be longer. 🤣🤣🤣 Great guide fam. I actually used the old version in MD with Lab cards cuz they were fun. Can't wait for your guide on that version. That's the one I need help with the most.
A bit late reply but a full infernoble board? Like with Angelica Ring and omni-negates? I hardly know any deck that can break that board without using kaiju's and multiple board breakers. Noice~
1:03:35 With targeting Rakea with Escaped, couldnt you target it to destroy it and then also chain Rakea to destroy the trap and then you get 2 special summons?
Those are not rly optimal combos, first hand could have ended on rage + ceasar + trap (what you said after the combo). You use the trap on your opponents turn to destroy rage and an opponents card. That will trigger yama and resummon rage back from grave and rage lets you add red dog from deck. You basically lost an entire interaction to stop your opponent with your combo route. You dont need to „hide“ your rage in the grave because you play around cards like imperm with the trap. And red dog gets added aswell with this optimised route. It the bread and butter combo for the deck and is possible with tourguide, red dog or aruha + trap or spell, red dog or aruha + rakea. IMO its allways better to have rage on the field than in graveyard when its your opponents turn.
@@RandomWitcher yep. And sometimes we don’t need the search at all as Yama lets you add from deck or grave. So if Sharv is summoned from deck (or sent via rhino); you can add it back from grave with Yama and extend without searching at all. I’ve ended on full combo after drolling my very first special summon under max C
@@rafe100from the deck list above , I’d consider cutting any combination of 1 trap + 2/3 perms. If you really want imperm in, you can consider cutting 1 imperm, 1 trap, and 1 ddd contract. I have mix feelings about cutting engine this much though.
@@RandomWitcherin hindsight actually, you almost never need the search as if you start with special summon sharv pop trap and they chain max C, you give them the one draw. New chain, trap to special summon aruha deck, chain droll. They stop drawing and Yama will just add aruha back from grave to extend
With the rakea and sarama still at 1 and no replacement suggestions? What about Ariane, salamander catalyzer, Diabolica etc. Would those be good tech cards
@RivalFaust rakea goes to 3 as the decks main normal summon then you can run crossout and nib or the other level 8 which is a brick in hand but is good in the grind game or going 2nd line
Oddly enough ns rakea might be better than tour guide because of maxx c and ash. But if you drop the ddd stuff you can run a lot of non engine so maybe you can survive a maxx c
There's an Evil Eye Spell that special summons a Fiend Token but if ya have one of the Evil Eye Equip Spell on the field, it generates 2 so that's an instant Yama but unfortunately, the main Evil Eye searcher is UR, however, the Field Spell is SR so if ya could play a small package of 2-3 of the Field Spell, 1 Serziel and the Spell that generates the Token

Your welcome enjoy the Deck !
Thanks so much for the guide! I've been waiting for Unchained for a long time and am so pumped to finally play it.

I prefer running the other level 8, a second thrust, and either a ghost Belle or a crossout.

I love this deck and its play style i broke a full infernoble broad with it opened no hand traps

For some reason nothing was said about D\D\D combos. Moreover, there are different options there, for example, add D\D\D Stone King Darius

Not playing droll is criminal. Droll his a decent hand trap and stops max C on our turn
Yes, since we basically normally search once per turn. Hadn't even considered it bro, will add them tomorrow to my list. Thanks!
So what would you switch the droll for the tour guide ?

im kinda lost how to use this deck ...This video came just on time.
what do i do if i get blue dog in hand first turn?
The best thing about this is shavara is UR and won’t be hit!
It won’t get hit, deck is fair enough
no instead they'll do something stupid like limit aruha after the banner is done
Is there a decent build without the tour guide? I don't have the crafting points but i have everything else
It’s just the same…but without tour guide lol and no fiendish rhino ofc

Do you need Underworld Goddess? I never see her in play.
You dont. But then you are only on 2 card combos.
@@kennypk He is talking about the link, not the lvl 3
@rexyze07 No, you don't need her... Until one day you face an unaffected monster. Then you'll regret not playing her.
@@faolin4789 Yeah, I can see that happen. I'm going to craft her if I manage to get the materials.

Anyone looking for more hand trap space can cut the main deck ddd cards
The deck is supposed to have at least 43 cards, i run 44
@@princeksean5047 I run a 40 card list rn, could see myself doing 42 though
DDD package is Brick...i'd rather run HT
