this is the type of album you must listen to in minimal light with lit candles. it’s a fucking journey. i recommend doing the same with IDFT’s the great gate... powerful shit.
I guess I may as well just go ahead and ask - is Arktau Eos a language other than English and what does it mean ? Is it some arcane reference from a demonology grimoire ? I looked in the index of both the Autobiography of Alastair Crowley as well as Gems from the Equinox which is a very beautifully packaged book but doesn’t have an index at all. There are quite a few ritualistic bands with similar names and I’m hoping there’s an occultist out there somewhere who can translate their names. A lot sound Egyptian but I’m just guessing. I’m glad to be the music freak I am because I really like this sort of music. It’s a little bit like prog (I’m talking Magma and Univers Zero not ELP) but stripped down and even more atmospheric.
Not sure what the name means exactly, person above is probably right, but I can tell you that this band is inspired by the divine truths of (Aryan) Gnosticism/Hermeticism. If you wish to know more there are many holy books written by the old ascended masters of antiquity, a simple search will reveal most of these books, hopefully. Read and learn well.
it's not for stoned people dude... it's for fucking devil-worshipping type shit. cult shit. tho many cultists are stoners & drugs do play a part in spiritual shit..
@@thegreatprophesizedantichr3762 i know it’s been 3 years, but did you type out your entire thought process? because if so... i can relate. your initial point made me chuckle though so there’s that. hope all is well for you in these times, stranger!
@@adaisychain4azathoth i just typed what i thought. pretty sure this is for meditation type stuff, but maybe arktau eos DID create it for other purposes.. being stoned.. maybe to try to be kindv dark & horror, or whatever. maybe just to be relaxing. i use it to relax & attempt but fail at spirituality. sound easily gives me a headache but silence also can make me feel weird & whatever so i play this. not silent, but barely noisy too.
@@thegreatprophesizedantichr3762 ambient music is good for relaxing for sure. ritual ambient i find taps into more energy to relax and let loose, and especially to focus on intention.
@@adaisychain4azathoth i don't feel like most any music taps into anything but maybe some music pleases some deities, i've got a small playlist of songs that stimulate me & half of them aren't ritualistic, but half of them are. from metal to techno to cult to game music to classical.. the only things i feel tap into anything is drugs & spirituality.. especially drugs. you could practice spirituality for HOURS & HOURS A DAY YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEARRR.. nothing. but take some good strong psychedelics? 1st day... opening up to so many things. many of them fake though but many of them real. though psychedelics might not be as good as spirituality, they're still quicker & spirituality itself too can be detrimental & dangerous.
im confused, there is not any real music playing, its just synthesizers and ambient sounds. i mean it's not bad but reminds me of a horror movie soundtrack
Imagine a dark room with black-clad attractive people moving about, drinking blood-red wine, chatting here and there, some happy and others in states of distress. That's the (actual) afterlife, and this is what will be playing in the background.
Listening to this while eating cute strawberry-shaped candies, awesome.
wonderful moody ambience. Love it.

I love the great gate album
This is beautiful!
I just want my entire body and being to finally dissolve into darkness.
Outstanding
I imagine this is what rain sounds like to shrews.

Eos (Εως) means light in ancient Greek (ie Eosforos (Εωσφορος) is the Light Bringer.

Patrick Walsh bro, it’s dark ambient/ritual ambient

Timothy Doran That’ll work I guess. Beats sitting on a cloud holding a harp of all things.
