I was his last student. He taught me Dragon Palm Ba Gua and asked me to teach it to this generation, just before he went home to die. So I put it on the web and broke it down. My video is called Douglas Knight Teaches Dragon Ba Gua. I am very glad to see this video here because his movement is more like he would want the movement. I will be referring to it often to make my performance of the form better.... more like his. I am 68 now. Thank you so much for posting it.
I have been practicing daily for a few years Liang Qiang Ya's form from painfully learning it at this link: ruclips.net/video/eIfp6WM7IJU/видео.html. I appreciate very much DPGDPG for posting Lin Chaozhen's form as it reminds me of some of Mr Liang's moves. Mr Knight, Thank you for offering your knowledge and look forward to it so I can polish my version of the Dragon Palm Ba Gua! Respectfully Kuan Leon Wen!
that was filmed in san francisco. i don't remember the name. i was mr. lin's last student. he had retired but came out of retirement when we met. all my lessons were private and some were at huntington square park and some were at washington square park in china town. he was appx. 85 years old when he started teaching me and since i could learn so fast he poured it on me. he was the seventh grand master i studied from over a twenty five year stretch of taking lessons. he and his wife were the only people who were at my lessons and he asked me to teach fu ba gua to this generation. if you search for douglas knight fu dragon form ba gua you can find where i posted the form in short sections to make it easy to learn. i also do the yin ba gua form. i loved him and was considered part of his family. he was the last living formal disciple of the great fu zen song. if you wish to contact me just reply on this thread. i think it would be sent to me.

Judging by the structure behind him, I am pretty sure the video was shot in Japan Town.
