    Urea plan reminds me of grandmas place that had an outhouse, so the boys made daily urea deposits right outside of porch

    One thing I figured out with deer is that they don't tend to see wire fences or some netting and will go right through it causing damage. However if I used some colored duct tape and made little flags, a couple inches long, they would see it and not damage it as much. Might help with your almost invisible net as well.

    Of course the traditional way to stop strawberries going slimy is to have a thick mulch of straw (hence the name) to keep them well clear of the soil, as you’ve started. Electric netting around your garden beds will help deter the deer!

    You need to get you an electro deer repellent device around the strawberry bed.

    I recently found your channel and like it. I love the West Virginia area also. I'm from the Pittsburgh area. If I ever move from Alaska, West Virginia would be one of very few places I would consider.

    I recommend your daily urea deposit come from the ground level rather than from the height of the deck level. Minimize the Splash Factor, ya know...

    The uria has the benefit of keeping the deer and rabbits out of your raised bed.

    The holidays are a tome of family. Don't you have two teemsge boys to fill and run your wheelbarrow?
    Create memories.

    Don't lie Troy, it's not an urea "experiment". You just enjoy peeing off the deck, I get it, what guy wouldn't?
    What I don't get is why you want everyone watching you from the county road? That's a little weird... 😂

      What?

    • @RedToolHouse
      @RedToolHouse  3 дня назад +4

      Yes, I always joke that I didn’t buy this property and go through all of this work building a homestead if I couldn’t pre where I want to. I usually wait until county road traffic has passed. It is a dead end, gravel road so the track is minimal at best.

    Thanks for the video...but mostly thanks for not showing you, your wife, and kids peeing in the planter.
