Brave enough is facing unemployment at 58, and starting over after 15 years of security, but knowing somewhere there is something I can still do, with my talents, and the strength that God gives me. This video reminded me that I am not the only one with doubts and troubles, and that everyone can overcome if they take the first step.
Bring brave means confronting the darkest parts of yourself and accepting it for what it is, and then dealing with it and making any changes necessary for a healthy, happy life.

This made my mood so much better. I was at the edge of desperation and breakdown once again, even tho I overcame it many times I thought about giving up. I wish I was brave enough to actually film myself talking about my problems and submit it like all these other people did, but they more than represent anything I could've said anyway, so it worked out. Brave enough, I think means that you have to accept the things that will hold you back from perusing an idea or a dream you have, and turn to them and say NO!!! but using that passion to help drive you and to think and know that life doesn't get easier you just get tougher. I'm getting a little bit braver because I've started to try and right and become an author despite my learning disabilities that affecting my speech when I was younger,and mentally and help out In the world when and where I can. In the past two years, I've found that being Brave Enough has been me getting the help I've needed for so long. One of my best friends encouraged me to go and she helped me realize a long time ago that not getting help for my problems was more of the easy way out and I could see why she said that because getting on that road to recovery, where you can live a positive life and grow in self love takes a lot of work. Today I've become brave enough to happily sing songs at work that might be playing on the radio, and singing in general even if I don't have a great voice, I find myself in such a mood to sing Disney songs and be a proud Disney geek. And what I've been trying to be brave enough to do is finally be myself in school. I just started college and I finally went back to school after five years. But while I am being more of myself, while I did believe initially that I'd make friends right away, it turns out that's not really the case even though I'm more open and friendly with people. It's discouraging when I find that everyone in my program is friends with each other but not me, or when I sit in a new spot in classes and people sit away from me, but I still want to be myself because I've learned I'm not doing anything wrong by doing this and there's nothing wrong with me either. Which is why being brave enough to become more myself is a big thing because all my life I've been forced to be someone I'm not and I felt I could only live my life if it was validated by others, but the problem was I felt I wasn't even allowed to feel however I did feel. I was supposed to always be happy and there was always a bad response if I even looked angry or depressed. I think, in a way, I eventually felt less of a person, which I think comes when practically the world has complete control over you and especially your emotions. At some point, I don't think it was easy for me to even cry. Once I got help and started unlearning what I knew, I started to feel more okay to be myself. I got help with developing an identity, and a life where I have my own thing and being encouraged to find friends and other good people in other areas in my life. Since getting help and learning to love and be kind to myself (I remember the exact date last year when I found love for myself, and Lindsey, when you come to Toronto, the day after that is my one year anniversary), I've been able to feel human again, in a sense. I don't know if Lindsey will ever read this but that would be awesome if she atleast was able to read all of this because ever since I really started to get to know her earlier last year, I've personally thought it'd be cool to be life-long friends with her.
And everyone in this video and their stories actually encouraged me to write this and think about what it means and what it has meant for me to be brave enough.

I pray for all of you. Please pray for me too. We are all facing difficulties in our lives. Let us be brave enough to be supportive of one another. I've dealt with some severe depression issues before; and overcame by helping others, hanging out with people that I could laugh with, keeping busy being productive, not dwelling on was bothering me badly unless i absolutely needed to address it, and then made it short and sweet, and moved forward again to productive projects. - Helping others can result in one of the most rewarding and uplifting things you can do. It not only may brighten the day of someone in need, but also so often brings a sense of accomplishment, and self worth added within. - To me being brave enough is overcoming the oppression of many around me, to find someone to work with that wants to work with me in the screen printing / imprinted apparel field, to find a place where I can live and work at my own pace in my own place to work within my means on a limited budget, to print the sketches of Drew and Lindsey i had drawn before I saw her in concert last, to actually use my screen printing press to print them on the T-shirt i asked her to make, and i bought from her site, to wear it to her next concert. To strive for health, to use portions of profits from shirts i print to donate to people in need, which i planned to do when my friend and investor was alive. I need to be brave enough to get out, use the phone, find a friend and stand up and do more again. There maybe many roadblocks, broken hearts we have caused or have suffered ourselves. We need to be brave enough to mend the broken heart with joy and love, and make the world a better place. - Lindsey, Thank you so much for your encouragements. it means the world to us, and those we help, taking from your examples.. to be brave enough., even if it is to put a smile on the face of someone else. ;") ~God bless you all~
I have been on a three year journey having to prove to myself how to be brave enough and continue on a path I never could have imagined. During a routine medical test I found out I had brain cancer, and had to make a decision that nearly destroyed my dreams. The surgery I had affected my motor skills, doctors told me to give up my professional dance career because I would never walk again. Two years of intensive rehab, I left everything behind, moved countries and started over. Today, I walk, run and dance because of the inspiration that started with one person and bloomed into a community. Today, I was brave enough to dance with Lindsey's tour choreographer. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this day would come.
Lindsey, one of the best videos I have seen. You have an amazing spirit and the love you have for people is an example of true passion for your life and others, stay true to your beliefs.

I finally had some time to watch this as I was reminded by Facebook lol I've been sick and recovering from a recent wreck. I did send in a video for this awhile back and even though I am slightly disappointed it wasn't included, I am truly amazed by everyone that was. Being Brave Enough is hard sometimes and even a miracle for those hit hardest with mental illness. I myself suffer from depression and anxiety which for the longest time I didn't deal with well. I find that music like Lindsey's, along with her story, touches the part of us that truly wants to be our truest selves. So Thanks everyone for sharing..and TYTYTY Lindsey for helping us with your music.

Hey, Stirlingites! It's Dave, y'all know who it is! This was such a great and inspirational video, and I'm glad to see some of my fellow Stirlingites (and Christians!) sharing their stories on how they can be brave enough. I was not brave enough to send a clip for this video, so I'll share my example here in the comments. To me, being brave enough is being able to tell people and friends at school about God. This is very difficult because many people in my school are either agnostic or atheist. I've tried multiple times telling my friends and peers about God, and let's just say that the outcomes weren't the best. They questioned me, they laughed at me, made fun of me, slapped me in the face. But regardless, I was brave enough to tell them about my beliefs anyways. And I am brave enough to tell all you guys my story. Thanks so much for this video, Lindsey and thanks to all you guys for being amazing! This album has so many inspiring themes to me and help me to live my life and be the best person that I can be. It's been two years since I lost Alex, it was about a month after Lindsey lost Gavi. But it's Lindsey's strength that helped me get over it. Meeting up with her that year and she remembered me and we got to talk about Gavi and Alex together. Her album, remembering who I was, and having me in this video helped me so so much! We had always arguments only, that' not the sense of a real friendship and I'm even brave enough to talk about it. I'm one of those Lost Girls. But I know that I can be Brave Enough to step into The Arena, and overcome my fears like The Phoenix. I ask myself Where Do We Go? Then I remember Those Days when I was fearless. I needed to break my Prism and hold my light to the world. I just need someone to Hold My Heart. My life is a Mirage of colors. I pray for all of you. Please pray for me too. We are all facing difficulties in our lives. Let us be brave enough to be supportive of one another. I've dealt with some severe depression issues before; and overcame by helping others, hanging out with people that I could laugh with, keeping busy being productive, not dwelling on was bothering me badly unless i absolutely needed to address it, and then made it short and sweet, and moved forward again to productive projects.
- Helping others can result in one of the most rewarding and uplifting things you can do. It not only may brighten the day of someone in need, but also so often brings a sense of accomplishment, and self worth added within.
- To me being brave enough is overcoming the oppression of many around me, to find someone to work with that wants to work with me in the screen printing / imprinted apparel field, to find a place where I can live and work at my own pace in my own place to work within my means on a limited budget, to print the sketches of Drew and Lindsey i had drawn before I saw her in concert last, to actually use my screen printing press to print them on the T-shirt i asked her to make, and i bought from her site, to wear it to her next concert. To strive for health, to use portions of profits from shirts i print to donate to people in need, which i planned to do when my friend and investor was alive. I need to be brave enough to get out, use the phone, find a friend and stand up and do more again. There maybe many roadblocks, broken hearts we have caused or have suffered ourselves. We need to be brave enough to mend the broken heart with joy and love, and make the world a better place.

I legitimately cried after watching this video, it lifted my spirits so much.
I have been on a three year journey having to prove to myself how to be brave enough and continue on a path I never could have imagined. During a routine medical test I found out I had brain cancer, and had to make a decision that nearly destroyed my dreams. The surgery I had affected my motor skills, doctors told me to give up my professional dance career because I would never walk again. Two years of intensive rehab, I left everything behind, moved countries and started over. Today, I walk, run and dance because of the inspiration that started with one person and bloomed into a community. Today, I was brave enough to dance with Lindsey's tour choreographer. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this day would come.
Lindsey, one of the best videos I have seen. You have an amazing spirit and the love you have for people is an example of true passion for your life and others, stay true to your beliefs.

I finally had some time to watch this as I was reminded by Facebook lol I've been sick and recovering from a recent wreck. I did send in a video for this awhile back and even though I am slightly disappointed it wasn't included, I am truly amazed by everyone that was. Being Brave Enough is hard sometimes and even a miracle for those hit hardest with mental illness. I myself suffer from depression and anxiety which for the longest time I didn't deal with well. I find that music like Lindsey's, along with her story, touches the part of us that truly wants to be our truest selves. So Thanks everyone for sharing..and TYTYTY Lindsey for helping us with your music.

Hey, Stirlingites! It's Dave, y'all know who it is! This was such a great and inspirational video, and I'm glad to see some of my fellow Stirlingites (and Christians!) sharing their stories on how they can be brave enough. I was not brave enough to send a clip for this video, so I'll share my example here in the comments. To me, being brave enough is being able to tell people and friends at school about God. This is very difficult because many people in my school are either agnostic or atheist. I've tried multiple times telling my friends and peers about God, and let's just say that the outcomes weren't the best. They questioned me, they laughed at me, made fun of me, slapped me in the face. But regardless, I was brave enough to tell them about my beliefs anyways. And I am brave enough to tell all you guys my story. Thanks so much for this video, Lindsey and thanks to all you guys for being amazing! This album has so many inspiring themes to me and help me to live my life and be the best person that I can be. Thanks again Lindsey for yet another amazing, inspirational, and easy-to-dance-to album! :D

It's been two years since I lost Alex, it was about a month after Lindsey lost Gavi. But it's Lindsey's strength that helped me get over it. Meeting up with her that year and she remembered me and we got to talk about Gavi and Alex together. Her album, remembering who I was, and having me in this video helped me so so much! We had always arguments only, that' not the sense of a real friendship and I'm even brave enough to talk about it. Then I remember Those Days when I was fearless. I needed to break my Prism and hold my light to the world. I just need someone to Hold My Heart. My life is a Mirage of colors. I remember my destination, so I Don't Let This Feeling Fade. I see the First Light of the outside world and remember Love's Just a Feeling. That's when I hear Something Wild call to me.
