Roseline is a thinker and a powerhouse. I love her. This Saudi issue is interesting. It sounds like the work visas holders are bonded workers. Historically this used to happen to Indians abroad under the British? No African country should allow citizens to work under such terms. It's quite risky for the state to entrust domestic employer to have so much power over an immigrant worker.
Unfortunately this is how the kafala system workers
I'm in the diaspora so how is she really representing us?
I wonder
@@ichooseviolence2532 just another waste of taxpayers money to pay salary for a non significant position.
Am curious as well
Why doesn't she start with Kenyan welfare instead of diaspora?
I don't think diaspora need Ruto help
Now that you are in the foreign affairs department aka ministry, consider the diasporans in the sense that could you lift the covid restrictions ??? We don't need to be taking silly tests or paying money for the same. The scam is over. Thank you
Can the Ministry upgrade the status of the Kenyan Embassy in Australia its pathetic and services needs to be improved. The office furnitures are so old and outdated, delayed services!! Only one person works well but she struggles alot she needs help and more funding.
If you can't negociate for/help the women in Saudia by diplomacy with the SA gov, then your office is useless.
Waste of resources and awarding cronies positions. Foreign affair ministry should do its work and good policies will safeguard diaspora’s investments.
Government only concerned of America and Europe diaspora..nothing about the middle east.
Diasporans would have preferred an Ex Diasporans to keep the role. What does she understand about diaspora?
If you watched the interview you would have found out that she's a Harvard Grad.
@@njerikiarie8928 I did watch the interview. Being a student diaspora and residence diasporan are 2 different topics. I can expand on the 2 topics if your interested in knowing more on both
@2464hellen as long as she wasn't distance learning from Kenya and she actually lived and studied abroad, she's a diasporan.
@@njerikiarie8928 absolutely. Though, as a diaspora student sheltered in a hostel does she understand diasporan hussles to well represent them?
@2464hellen you know she lived in a hostel?
