I have the same plane with a DLE 35 and it flies great. I even have an extra set of wings. My canopy came lose while flying and I had to repair it. It came out better than I expected but it's not perfect.
Love the vid. Enjoy the commentary rather than just listening to an engine buzzing the whole time. I'm just about to order the 40cc twin myself for something of this size - 3DHS or EF, but may go for this. Nice grafix too.
Great video - I really like the rational around de-tuning the throws and using it as a trainer under supervision (buddy-box). Almost all of these big aerobats track like they are on a rail and have GREAT and predictable glide due to big wings with low wing loadings, yet for some reason most 'traditional' folk cannot get their head around the fact you can make 3 different flying planes simply at the flick of a (dual rate) switch, yet still insist on poor performing POS's for learners just because they are short sighted and get focused on those big control surfaces that you "can" use IF you opt too!
Great video. Way u explain was excellent Just wanted to ask u. I bought EF EXTRA 78 inch should I put a dle 35RA OR DLE 40CC TWIN Hope if the dle 40cc is not a problem maker. Pls advice
+marc T.jensen Sorry. I don't have an engines for that size plane these days. But have had several AeroWorks planes and flown many others from their lineup for people and have yet to see a bad plane come from them. AeroWorks is one of the leaders in this industry and I would never be afraid to buy a plane from them.
The A's have less pitch where the B's have more around an 8 in common prop descriptions. But, the Vess props seem to work better throughout the RPM range, for me anyway. I love them and use them exclusively.
Hello there, first of all I wanted to say that you made good work with this video, I enjoyed watching it! I do have one bit of constructive criticism though, you might need some sort of filter on your mic because of the "poof" noises being made with you talking so close to the mic. It's just a small thing though. Overall very nicely done =)
Hey bud would you or do you assemble these big planes for people? I always wanted one of these planes but I have no interest in building it. Would rather have someone else build it and I just want to fly it.
+rich r Sorry, Rich. I do not build planes for people and am not aware of anyone that does. Most people in this hobby are kind of busy with their own planes! You might post this on one of the forums though. I think you have a much better chance of finding someone local to you that way.
Great video and plane! My skills are just about the same as yours so I can really relate to everything you're saying and doing on this post. Time to subscribe, LOL! :D Cheers!
Great commentary! Makes me think of a nature program I would have watched as a child in the 70's. Looks like a great flying plane also....Thanks!

What a clever idea to use card stock as templates for measuring hole placement.
I just bought one of this Extra 260 yesterday. Awesome Video! Thank you!

Ok
Beautiful plane bro, and great job!
Question? What's the difference between the A & B Vess props?😉

@@flyingrcdotnet Thanks very much! Couldn't figure that one out! Wasn't sure if they were referring to sides!🤣
Great place, great pilot
Impressive Flying Skills! Great video
amazing! what was the airplane's all up weight..?
I don't remember the weight but it was light for its size and flew extremely light, a hallmark of the AeroWorks planes

Please can I bye the air plane online
Nope. AeroWorks went out of business, a huge loss for the RC community
definitely a huge loss. such a shame
Buying extra airplanes?
Hmmm, yep! Thirty and counting.
I'd love to be able to keep all the lanes that come through here but the real world means I have to sell them to get cash for the next Review project.
