There was a tko600 liberty face plated on Kijiji alberta a few months back for a very good price but I just didn’t want to have my street cruiser face plated…not yet…and I didn’t have the $3600 the guy wanted lol Can’t wait for the manual content bud
When you say dog-box, I hear money-shift. You better put a budget zero F's engine in front of that trans until you get the first 1-2-1 shift out of the way. Money shifts dont care how expensive your engine is or how long it took you to get it built. Cam & spring 5.3L with lots of boost rowing your own gears sounds amazing tho!

Just being real candid here my worry with you and a manual is the time and effort to dial in a clutch if you go fancy fully adjustable, weighted style. They are a pita to get right and usually take a lot of track time and a disk or two in the process. Unless you put that time in, which one or two days a year will make it difficult, I see you chasing your tail and getting frustrated. Go into it with that expectation and budget the time before you plan to make a X000 mile trip and it might be great. All the best, and yes save the manuals!!

I called Gforce after I saw your comment and found their T56 (in 1st-4th) can handle 10-11k rpm, but only 6k rpm in 5th-6th, that's much higher than I remember reading and much higher than any stock T56, my mistake. The TKX is a new transmission, that's why you wouldn't be seeing it everywhere, it's not your typical TKO. I'm also curious on the choice because the TKX is 40lb lighter than a t56, and weight matters, or so I thought.

Not the very best, nice trans for the money but PPG makes far superior gear set for the T56 platform, maybe nicest “face-plated” H pattern gear set but light years away from best H pattern transmission on the market!!! Check out Tick Performance for the cutting edge in H pattern transmissions

Definitely should have put the attachment point of the box lower. It would take a lot of weight off the front edge if the tow strap was connected higher on the tow vehicle and lower on the box . You could get it moving easier so no need for the snatch take off and less overall strain on the box. Just sayin. Lol

Ancor closer to the bottom of the box it will lift it some and help it slid across the ground.
I would definitely keep the Turbo 400 and everything that goes with it for an emergency back up in case you manage to blow up the manual.

Why not go with something like the TKX? It has similar internals to the T56 and the lightness of a TKO, all with a 7k rev limit out of the box.
Because what he put in doesn't have a rev limit? If the TKX was better, we wouldn't be selling all these T56 or TR6060s.
