    I wish we had some oak trees around so I could actually look at a leaf but using your great tutorial will allow me to “play”. I sure wish it was more fall like here. with the heat wave we are having the current temp is 115! I know you are in SoCal too so you are probably feeling the same heat!

      We had a taste of Fall, it was so wonderful cool evenings and mornings and then a few days later BAM! back up to 100's. Cant believe it. Hoping it goes back down soon. I will have to see if I can find an oak tree leaf. They are beautiful. I had a few but they all crumbled away!

    (Moved this reply up top) “Thanks Debbie! Rita here, new to your Facebook group. You just added me earlier this week and I posted a couple of my paintings. I appreciate your feedback. I’m not really a beginner, but am happy they’re your passion. I love the idea of a tutorial drawing anything using perspective. Pumpkins would be a great place to start. I’ll look at your other links here too. Thanks for the discount code on the water well from Meeden. I just ordered mine and can’t wait to use it. Yay! I’ve way outgrown my two juice glasses😂. Blessings!”

      lol, I used canning jars for years. After dumping them a few times, (what a mess that was) and wanting something prettier :-), I got the Meeden palletes and water wells, and so gald I did they are beautiful ceramic and well made. I have worked for years with all levels, but it is so much fun to see beginners come in and get excited about what they were able to create!

    Great pumpkin Debbie. I have messed up or smudged my painting many times. I bought the Fix It brush size 2 from Princeton and I just love the results. It takes no time at all to use it to wet the spot and then dap it off with tissue. It’s a great tool for me.

    Japanese blue pumpkin can grow large in Australia and there are few other varieties we can grow use to have them all the time x get few different ones but rather small in UK 😊

      @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy  Год назад +1

      Interesting. I’d only seen them in photos they must be beauyiful and so unique. I cannot recall where this particular subscriber was from but she said they have blue and also a white variety, which we get some white but mostly orange and a peach color. Fascinating for me. I suppose I will have to paint a blue one next!

I have been very inspired by all of you to try new th ings, brushes, papers, look for different options, it has been so much fun! I hope to continue to bring you fun things. I will create a tutorial on drawing pumpkins with different perspective, it will be similiar to the floral drawings using guidlines for the pumpkin segments. Here are the flower ones to give you a general idea. ruclips.net/video/wmnjRHpnAGQ/видео.htmlsi=Npk3LwSdT2B_1liW

      Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you~ BTW I draw this similiarly to the technique I draw flowers, which I Find interesting. Drawing the center first and then guidlines except for here not guidlines for petals but for each section of the pumpkin. Makes it so easy to draw a pumpkin at any angle! ruclips.net/video/wmnjRHpnAGQ/видео.htmlsi=Npk3LwSdT2B_1liW and this one on drawing ruclips.net/video/So6tVaVD7_I/видео.htmlsi=pYWxxFQT2PloXua0 I hope you give it a try, (I even heard there are actually blue pumpkins!) Lovely pumpkin Debbie! I loved seeing that perspective on the last group of pumpkins you painted. Perspective is always a challenge for me. Lots of erasing and redrawing and then never sure if it’s right, lol. Just the nature of illustration. Thanks for all the painting tips in this one and for being ok with sticking your hand in the wet paint. We all do it, but it’s fun to watch a pro just move on after and then show how to fix it. I’m learning in watercolor much can be fixed contrary to what some artists think. I find it a very forgiving medium as long as you work fast.😊. Blessings to you!

    • @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy
      @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy  Год назад

      Thank you Rmuller, and Yes, if you work fast as you said you can many times pick up the paint, lift it with a damp brush, blend it a bit, sometimes if the paint is highly saturated color Prussian blue and reds, pinks can be tough to lift and fix but many times it can be either incorporated into your painting or lifted out~ I even heard of someone using those white Mr Clean Magic Eraser! Crazy right? Blessing to you and Happy painting, I Hope to continue to inspire you, working with BEginners is my passion for years. I will be diong more maybe a drawing pumpkins different perspetives tutorial? What do you think. Meanwhile its simliar to drawing flowers aside from the guildlines are for the pumpkin segments vs petals. Here is a couple meanwhile to take a look at, I hope they are helpful~ ruclips.net/video/wmnjRHpnAGQ/видео.htmlsi=Npk3LwSdT2B_1liW

    I am a fan of yours and you have taught me a lot. As I take pictures of your projects at various stages, I would so appreciate if when you are talking and explaining and not painting, would you please keep your hands away from the picture so that I could get a clear shot without your hands in the way? Thanks!

      I will do my best, with so many things to think about when im filming it can be challenging to keep my hands out of the video unless I am deliberately pausing so you can take some screen shots. Ill see what I Can do for you friend. I also have the 2.50 little tutorials with worksheets if you like. Thank you for being here with me, Meanwhile let's keep creating beautiful, fun things!
