I personally dislike Harris and Trump. But I prefer Trump's policies this time around. I was criticizing the polls even when they showed him ahead. Political polling is not something to be trusted. It's essentially a marketing tactic that is heavily biased depending on who conducts them.
I grew up conservative and much of family is still so, some even MAGA. As an independent I have never understood the despicable defense of Trump by his supporters. Just look at the comments on this video or any other. Nearly all attacks are ad hominem against anyone who questions him or objects to the insane, anti-American things he says. On Friday he literally said that a civilian medal he gave to a “beautiful” billionaire donor’s wife is better than the sacred Medal of Honor that is given to soldiers who are “shot up with bullets or dead.”
How can you hear him say that and not utterly reject him as a damned traitorous fool?! Try to imagine how enraged you would feel if Obama or Biden or Harris said the exact same thing. If you cannot bring yourself to vote Democratic this election, fine, but if you talk yourself into supporting this disgusting human being, you are no patriot.

Polls can be quite deceiving, especially almost three months out from election day. Momentum is important, and Kamala has it now. If folks believe you will win, they are more likely to vote for you. Kamala can win.

17 crime went dramatically up under Trump.
18 he came to power the way African dictators come to power: he colluded with Russia so they would steal the election for him. They succeeded by hacking voting systems in 21 states. I speak Russian and they admitted it on state TV.
19 he nominated and installed three incompetent Supreme Court justices with the sole purpose of overturn Roe and removing a constitutional right. We will have to spend millions to gain back those rights by vote. No state has yet agreed with Trump on this issue (he lied- again).
20 after his massive landslide loss to Biden, he summoned his low IQ supporters to DC to try to overturn the results. They came armed with all sort of weapons from pipe bombs, to handguns, to bear spray, to flag poles to fire extinguishers. Several MAGAts were killed along with multiple injuries for police. He failed to call them off and was charged with inciting an insurrection in his second impeachment. By a vote of 57-43, the Senate found him guilty.
There are more items. That’s just the top worst things he did.

The numbers are higher because those who are scared due spouses, family members and neighbors that would ostracize them if they said Harris. I have a property down south but vote up north and the neighbors think we support trump so all is good.
