Ecc is a little bit slower then the non ecc as sometime it has to check for errors

Ecc ram is usually 2% slower if you want to game on it go with non ecc but if you want to work like adobe illustration or blender or 3d maya or something like that then ecc would be a better choice

ECC mean Error correcting code. No BSOD anymore. I vote for ECC reg.
